Hope to join the Chinese camp

It’s not just the US military that deals with the Japanese army. Gaijin should join the Chinese camp, and many Chinese players hope to join Chinese soldiers instead of using the US and Japanese camps to fight against them.

You have a greater chance of getting a soviet VS Japanese campaign then a Chinese one.

I agree with this point. To be honest, most people are saying that the Soviet Union and Japan should have a fight, as if they can’t see that China and Japan have been engaged in a fourteen year war. The Soviet Union’s battle in Manchuria ended with an easy crushing of the Japanese army. Do we really need such a battle in the game

In contrast, the war between China and Japan is closer to confrontation. I don’t mean they are evenly matched, but neither side can defeat the other. What would happen to the Battle of Manchuria between the Soviet Union and Japan? Do developers want Japan’s delusional products (I mean vehicles that have never been manufactured) to deal with Soviet heavy tanks? Or would they ban the advanced weapons and equipment of the Soviet Union, despite their extensive use in history to defeat the Kwantung Army?

As a Chinese player, it would be the best if DF can really implement the Chinese faction. However, considering that the tech tree of the existing factions is still incomplete, and some more popular British and Italian factions among Western players have not yet emerged, I think the Chinese faction may wait for some time.

I don’t want to say some cliché that the Chinese battlefield being forgotten, but it is true that WWII games are mostly aimed at Western players who prefer and are more familiar with the Western Front. That’s also why most WWII games tirelessly repeat the story of the 1944 Western Front. I’ll not be too surprised that if DF choose US vs Japan when updating the Far East battlefield in the future, because there are more players who want to play as role of the US military, and game developers want to cater to their interests.

I don’t think the China camp is a difficult thing
They have enough weapons to support the technology tree
Vehicles may be a bit difficult, but if we just need a little more “magic”, maybe there will be no problem
At least the IJA got enough “magic” weapons

Only if politics wasn’t a thing. In normal circumstances sino Japanese war campaign would have make sense. But have you ever wondered why there are no official sino Japanese war games only mods?

Hey, at least our servers don’t need to be censored by the Chinese government
So why not? War Thunder also has a Chinese camp

I think there is a Chinese version of the enlisted. At least I think it is. But still we are not safe from them. I haven’t seen a mainstream game featuring sino Japanese war like ever. Personally I wouldn’t mind having those Chinese Mauser rifles and I am sure darkflow will butcher the uniforms just like the Japanese other wise I would love to see those nationalist blue and green uniforms.

What’s interesting is that the Chinese server updated Pacific War a few days ago
Until then, I had been pessimistic and thought that playing a game in China where you could play IJA was simply a fantasy.

Maybe I should be more optimistic about censorship

Censorship is a real thing. Personally I don’t like censorship but hey what can you do. I wonder if Japanese army not getting their proper uniform is an act of censorship or not. But not going to lie I am sick and tired of the western allies and the soviets. If china was added as an allied nation I would have chosen them over the US and soviet union.

But there is a contradiction here. Firstly, the Chinese server has been set up and has passed the Chinese government’s review (which will not be applied to international servers, of course, this is not the point). The key point is that game developers want to release a World War II game in a victorious country, but there is no national camp of this victorious country in the game. Isn’t this a very contradictory thing.

I think if developers really want to expand the Chinese market, they must develop and launch the Chinese camp. If this can be done on approved Chinese servers, then the Chinese camp can also appear on international servers that do not require Chinese government approval without any problems.

As for whether developers plan to expand the Chinese market, I can only say that the Chinese market is a big cake, and Chinese players have strong purchasing power (especially when they can play the role of Chinese soldiers in the anti Japanese war to fight against invading forces in the game). I don’t think anyone will give up on this market (Blizzard has done this, and now they want to return to the Chinese market).

If I remember correctly one of the Devs in the past said they won’t make a sino Japanese war campaign like ever. And this game isn’t as popular as war thunder in china anyway.

I have to admit that War Thunder’s servers in China have closed down, which means that 100% of Chinese players will flow into the international version of War Thunder.
But this game is different. At least the Chinese server has diverted some players away.

I’m looking at this from a long-term perspective. Maybe this game can one day be expanded to include those factions after World War II.

Then it may be necessary for the Chinese camp to join, because the Korean War

At least with the current resources of the game, it is completely possible to make it, because the US army recently received their winter clothes, and the developers said that they will add M26 tanks. Many of the infantry weapons in the Korean War are weapons used in World War II.

The Korean War is a good means of transitioning the game from World War II to the Cold War. It can serve as a link between the past and the future.

The Chinese camp is a camp with great potential in the future and I believe it is interesting enough. They also have their own unique weapons and vehicles. Perhaps it can shine like the IJA in the Pacific battlefield.
Currently IJA has a large number of players because it is an independent camp with independent and interesting weapons

Do Japan in enlisted get that many players from china? If so it’s surprising for me. But still I am a extreme level casual player. I would rather not play in the Asian server if we ever get any in the future despite living in Asia. Because Chinese people are one hell of a serious video games player. I am just thinking how competitive it will be.

This post seems to have not received official attention so far. But what’s interesting is that a group of Chinese people are communicating with each other in English.
