What’s with the air balloons on Airfield map in Normandy giving VP points to US team? I’ve seen it all the way to 2000 points, and more.

It’s not like they needed the balloons, with the shermans coming in at 30 mph. A 37mm knocks out a panzer H
It is not victory points.
And the allies usually lose on that map - perhaps as much as 2/3rd or reven 3/4 the time.
So it was Darkflow’s idea - because the map is so heavily in favour of hte axis.
Giving the attackers a leg-up on that map is a good thing. And it’s also nice to have a secondary objective and gives an incentive to play fighters and not just bombers.
The one thing I don’t like about the balloons granting tickets, though, is that it drags out the match so much. It can get quite tedious.

You can kill the balloons from the ground - 75mm AP works fine, as does .50 and .30 cal tank mounted MG’s

We should have additional objects like more interactive GROUND destructive objects. Air Balloons are so plain, and actually, no one care, or able to care about it.

Pfff those are nothing, wait for people complaining that the CHURCHILL cannot get pierced… We won’t ever hear the end of it.
When I think about it, the Churchill is merely a Brit Jumbo. 🤷
