Hoarding silver orders?

I’ve been hoarding my silver orders, I don’t see a reason to spend them until I’ve unlocked all the weapons, why get weapons I may want to replace, I have spent a few on LMGs and mortor tudes.

What’s the consensus?

You save them for what you want. It’s up to you.

Their your orders … let you be you … I’ve spent a good bit of mine on upgrading my troops from Springfield’s to Garand’s

you can use silver orders in order to get weapons and scrap them to upgrade the one you already have, get scraps for vehicles in order to upgrade those, and lastly, with the others silver orders, you can get soldiers that usually comes from 2<5 stars.

it’s up to you.

I was thinking the same. Spend them now or save for later.
I came up with the middle ground.
If I want to do something, I spend them. Simple as that.
Spending them right away just because you have them is just dumb.
Saving them for later won’t repay the suffering of playing stock squads/weapons.

i only use them if i need another troop type in my squads

I spent my silver orders on PPD 34/38s once I unlocked the gun itself arming almost every assaulter with that. I had a early mistake of using them on Mosin M1891/30s but at the time my guys are using M1907 carbines with terrible sights.

PPD-40 would take a long time to unlock so maybe I should save future silver orders on PPShs on another campaign.
