Ho-Ri Production review

I’ve had the Ho-Ri Production since 3 days after the update so im going to share the pros and cons.

Pros:

  • It’s the only Japanese tank in the game that isnt severely overtiered.

  • It’s the only Japanese tank that can face American BR 3-5 Tanks head on.

  • It’s very fast in both acceleration and top speed.

  • It’s has extremely good armor against enemy tank fire, even Pershings have minor difficultly.

  • Has a sizeable crew and can have 2 loaders incase one is killed.

  • has enough horsepower and height to plow through deep water, we dont need bridges where were going!

  • Has outstanding explosive power and quick reload time with loader perk.

  • It’s the only Japanese tank that can cross trenches other than the Ka-Chi.

  • It’s the second best anti-infantry tank in the game behind the Chi-Ha Short gun.

Cons:

  • Is artificially weak to AT weapons, even M8 Grenade launchers can pierce the front mantle and auto kill the entire crew. M9 Bazookas can fly straight through the front plate and wipe the entire crew despite the separation of the crew between the engine.

  • Both tracks in the front and rear must be touching the ground at all time to have traction, if one is lifted off the ground you will lose all traction from that side of the tank.

  • Gets stuck very easy, a pile of scrap metal less than a foot wide and a few inches tall can completely immobilize the tank. (due to the above mentioned track issue, rocky terrain is this things worst enemy)

  • When aiming downwards the rear section of the tank opens up, all it takes is 1 6ft tall overweight American basketball player to hop up with a BAR to end all of the rear crews lives.

  • HE shells highly ineffective at killing infantry in wood buildings, HE shells will often pierce entire buildings.

  • It’s a tank destroyer so most aiming must be done with steering.

  • Has no MG port (possibly a good thing since thats an additional weakspot not present at the cost of not having a Type 97 LMG with a 20 round mag that takes 4-5 shots to kill with negative zoom levels.

  • Like all other Japanese tanks, it has an extremely loud 2 stroke diesel engine that gives It’s position away to tanks and the more feared infantry.

  • Default camouflage sticks out like a sore thumb.

  • To repair certain parts you must be on top of the tank which is often a death sentence.

Thats all of it, but I think that the getting nuked by rifle grenades is a bug carried over from artificially increasing the penatration values of the Piat and M9 Bazooka so if a mod (@Bigote0070) can confirm, that would be greatly appreciated.
