HLL is free on Xbox, should I get it?

I am not sure if I should get it because I like more casual type games, but then again I’ve never played a MilSim before, so those who have played, what’s your say?

I tried HLL, it sucks, after 5 min I asked for a refund, also everything in that game is given to you for free, completely ruining the fun of grinding

If you wanna do grinding go to Warframe they have lots of it and it’s vaguely interesting

No unnecessarily long grindy events for subpar stuff here I come. I’ll try it and I’ll see if it like it, I’m not sure about everything being free though.

I’ve played it on PC, it’s ok… I got a few days enjoyment out of it. If the team communicates well it can be fun. May as well try it…

Not sure why you’re asking this on an Enlisted forum and not, say, a HLL forum, but I’ve played a few matches. It’s fun

HLL is a crap. 90 % of maps are empty fields with a wall of bushes every 200 m.

Tanks with destroyed tracks can move across the battlefield.

Rifles kill in one shot up to 200 m, but after adding a scope the same rifle can kill in one shot up to 1000 m (gun optics affects its damage).

Some factions (British) have no access to semi-automatic rifles and can use only obsolete WW I weapons.

Hacking is so blatant that people post their hacks on YT.

And most important - player must click TAB + “personal stats” every each shot to check did he even hit the target :baby:

Good game but definitely not as arcade as Enlisted - you don’t get the rapid gameplay at all.

A lot depends on communicating with you squad, and then with leaders communicating with the commander.

Took me until my 2nd game to get a kill, and I now have about 200 hrs on it.

try it - it might be for you

ETA: Be prepared for 60-90 minute games!!

Enlisted does it better, only thing that HLL has is graphics.

b-but.

we have hell let loose at home son,

*points in the general direction of the mod editor and custom games

“It” being everything except command and control, immersion, historicity, communications, an approximation to “real life”… yes Enlisted does everything better except those.

And graphics.

I mean, in the aspect that one is a esque milsim and the other an arcade, yes, Enlisted does it better, and Squad44 does it better in the milsim aspect. No wonders why HLL gone free on gamepass after many, many offers and free weekends on steam.

I have never seen a game so desperately trying to stand up by itself, but kudos for them.

also from what i heard HLL tanking is extremely lack luster

Tanks in HLL can get stuck on almost everything. And even if they reach destination (with max speed 18 km / h) then almost every enemy soldiers can silently blow it up with a satchel charge.
