Allowing an option to remove hitmarkers and/or replacing them with a sound cue would would often help with how cluttered the screen can be in battle. Hitmarkers/Killmarkers (Crosses and Skulls) are really distracting, as often another player might walk into the exact same position as someone you have killed/wounded, due to how crowded SQUADS gamemode can be.
As such, if it could be removed, players who can notice animations/ragdolls from distance, or prefer to read the killfeed might have an easier time shooting.
Optionally, such a hitmarker could be replaced with a sound effect, be it a quiet fleshy impact sound, or something else. But that is not necessary.
Or we may have UI fade away when you look at it.
I don’t agree, none currently cover our vision to the point we don’t see.

I did say that I’d like this to be an Option, not an enforced change for everyone. I personally find such markers distracting and unhelpful, but others might not. Hencewhy I wish there to be a choice to disable them or keep them on.
Exactly as you said, I would love if more games faded the UI when aiming down sights near a UI element!
I agree, those skulls are just in the way so I’d really like an option to turn off the skulls. They might not be in the way when spraying an smg at 10 meters but when sniping at 200 meters they are just painful to have in your view.
i would like to see the hit markers removed in settings for immersion purposes without removing the entire hud
