Historical Outfits

I have decided to create this thread to share with users who like historical recreations and thus share their troop sets. I start by giving an example of a Squad for Berlin, in this case for the Volkssturm: for the stormtroopers they could have either MP 3008 or the VG rifles (the semi-automatic one), for the AT soldiers the feared Panzerfaust, double barrel shotguns were seen as they were going, some members were seen with mp40 and even Kar rifle but few

The M30 was a shotgun issued to pilots in North Africa against wildlife.
Karabiner 98k and MP40 were actually used by the Volkssturm as they were the most issued weapons of the German military.

i already do this but i do give the volksstrum most of the gold order weapons as they were issued everythink and anythink
but there is also a certain squad in moscow that would also have got anythink and every thing
the 716th german at squad in normandy they would have been issued mas-36 as they were a foreign reservist
and lastly the 1st flamer squad for the Americans on Normandy (the 113th with the 29th emblem) was/is noted as having m1903s still used by troops on d-day in strangely large numbers

oof.

so you’re telling me i managed to fuck up even the simplest units to do in the game?.

rip…

Not in terms of cloth though.

It pains me that we can´t recreate the pictured Volksturm rizz

Apparently only one premium rifle squad can do the job.
Really a shame.

Even then it´s just 1 outfit then recoloured and no Fedoras only green caps and helmets. I just want a trenchcoat and Fedora for my Volksturm.

How are your Airborne boys missing one of the most unique parts of their outfit, the airborne boots🤯

if you have some spare cards i will glady do that.

until then,

no fancy boots.

Until I get my fancy boots I dub thy paratroopers

(unhistorically accurate)

bangs gavel

if you don’t know- historically, soldiers in long fights, looks like hobos, or post- apocalyptical setting characters, and wearing random things (because after week on trenches, all equipment already dirty and damaged, and it often mixes with trophies).
Standardized soldiers- it’s only for parade, or historical photos.

Even hobos keep their special boots😉but if you couldn’t tell it was just jokes I wasn’t being serious.

Sometimes, its enemy boots, with unwashed parts of previous owners legs, you know…

Sometimes you gotta take what you can get🤷‍♂️the boys at the Battle of the Bulge knew this.

That’s right.
And that’s why near no “Historical accurate” outfit- outfit of every soldier, who has passed through battle, is very original.
