Historical accurate feature for German tanks in enlisted would be to have transmission break when going up a hill in either your tiger 1 or 2. then you have to get out and repair your tank
Lmao
So pretty much fucking over German players?
I mean tbf, you could balance it for all nations, all soviet tanks for example, have subpar metalworking skills hence all armour has a 10% reduction in protection. You could also add to them, subpar welding standards, so all vehicles have a 10% chance to instantly die if hit by HE, this rises to 40% if it is 105mm and above HE.
The Japanese could have brittle armour so MG fire could shatter the armour plates destroying them.
The Allies, I mean tbf their mostly reliable, I guess model rivets acting as shrapnel when something like a cromwell tank is destroyed… if they ever add a cromwell… Maybe british tank squads need to take a tea break approx 10 minutes into the battle?
Realistically, this type of mechanic would only serve to frustrate players for extremely minimal immersion gains.
But the sadist in me wants it for every faction.
German Tigers and Panthers randomly break down. All German tanks sometimes spawn with low fuel reserves. MG42s require barrel changes every 100-150rds. Soldiers on the Eastern front sometimes spawn in without winter clothing and slowly freeze to death. And semi auto rifles (G41 and G43) occasionally fail to feed.
Soviet SMGs (Especially PPSh-41s but also PPDs, PPS-42s, and PPS-43s) randomly jam and/or fail to feed. KV series tanks randomly break down. T-34s have abysmal vision. Shortcuts and malpractice in metallurgy lead to occasional armor failures in all their tanks. And their automatic rifles (AVT-40, AVS-36, AS-44, and Fedorov Avtomat) all occasionally fail to feed and/or jam.
Allied Paratroopers sometimes miss their designated drop zones and/or land without a weapon (they lost it on the way down). Soldiers in the Pacific sometimes become deathly sick and slowly die. And all Jumbos/Pershings/Super Pershings are replaced with regular M4A2 Shermans (there were literally more TIGERS in Europe than those 3 COMBINED).
Japanese soldiers sometimes spawn in with very little ammo (1 spare clip/magazine). Shortcuts and malpractice in manufacturing lead to weapons randomly having lower fire rates (especially bolt action rifles), jamming, or sometimes even breaking down in combat. Soldiers randomly fall over dead from exhaustion, starvation, and/or disease. And every time you lose a battle as Japan, one of your GO soldiers is permanently removed from the game (seppuku out of shame for losing)
Yall are takinh this too seriously… Is it not clear that he was joking?
I honestly can not wait to see these suggestion added to the game bring back the historical accuracy the game had
I know he was joking, I was just summarizing his idea
This is a must have.
it was pretty clear i was joking, i just wanted to see how people would react
