Hints & Tips for Enlisted

You tube is your friend.

But here are a few tips:

In Tank, to make it easier to get around, press down arrow and then circle you will change to commander view and circle makes you pop up, now you can see more of your tank, although you are vulnerable. ( On Allies you get a bonus mg to use as commander)

You can repair your tanks, but fall back from battlefield, give drivers two repair tool kits.

Always put your squad formation to wide, use square square and keep manually making your squad advance with you, but double tapping 10-20m or so ahead of you.

If you spot, everyone can see, great for planes and tanks, also your ai bots will point in the same direction.

Engineers can build spawn beacons, ammo boxes, anti aircraft gun, anti tank one too.

You can heal you winded squad members if you have a med pack, I carry two just in case.

When you start focus on all the xp trees in progress, it is tempting to increase squad size or who is in it, but in the beginning focus on XP, that’s how you get better and more weapons.

Planes need flaps added to ps5 controls, you are not flying a bf plane, you are flying a Warthunder flight model you have been warned.

There are 2 different campaigns, Normandy and Moscow which have separate xp branches, you need to level all your troops separately.

If you double tap square on enemy tank you can command your own squad to attack it, especially if they have Tnt.

You can pick up and throw grenades back, just press square and look at it, be careful!

That will do for now, enjoy!

Gotta debunk some of these:

The extra vulnerability makes this worthless, tbh.

Afaik this one can be used even from within the tank.

You can also just use the tank as hard cover by lying somewhat underneath it while repairing.

AI does not throw accurately and does not cook the explosive packs, making them useless at attacking enemy tanks. Do not do this.

Most advanced players will cook them so they either explode on landing, or 1 sec after that, aka when you come out of cover to walk up to it to throw it back. Throwing grenades back is not advised at all.

You are entitled to your opinon, but commander view is best way to drive tanks full stop, not under fire obviously.

As for MG only if you are commander do you get both MGs

As for ordering squads to destroy vehicles, it works I have done it, a bad tank is dead a good tank takes skilled players and maybe a few Piats…

As for repairing underneath when you are under fire not a good idea, you tank will get totalled in secs against a good tanker. If enemy throw nade too, you are doomed underneath.

This is for new players mate,

Or you just take control of that soldier and throw the explosive pack yourself. If you are good with them, they kill 100% of the time.

Not saying you should do it while under fire, but you don’t have to fully retreat either.

They do cook them and, if they are given a proper chance they can work surprisingly good against tanks. I managed to pull out a real teamwork with my bots: I was blinding a tank with flamethrower and in that time one of my bots cooked his explosion pack and blasted it.

Nah they sadly changed it cus the .50 cal on the sherman was OP (one shot everything…)

Ah.

re tank top MG’s - I know the .50 cal in the M8 does fire if you are in gunner view as long as the commander isn’t dead yet, but then the M8 commander is always “heads up” and can’t button up at all - so maybe that is different?

When you pop out to repair your tank, make sure you order your crew inside immediately so they don’t get slaughtered.

I think that, if you pop out and order your squad inside the tank ahead of time, only one person will exit the tank to repair while the others stay inside. I need to confirm that this works again to be sure.

The way I see it, the commander isn’t doing anything else anyway so not using it is saving you from the punishment of not being able to use it.

The main downside I see is the delay between losing the commander and switching back to the gunner.

A couple of my own:

-det packs can blow holes in the cracking portions of the large concrete walls in the D day landing.

-many houses have attics you can reach through trapdoors in the ceilings either by climbing on furniture or having an engineer build something for you to stand on. Or probably the jump height perk.

-Holding the left alt key allows you to drop pins on the map manually

Yup, forgot to mention that, but I do that as well.

Personally I would change the tank control system, so that commander is more universal but driver and gunner are better at driving and shooting.
Although when I proposed it nobody even comented it so I guess it’s a bad idea.
