He M1 Thompson and 21/28 variants should be moved down to BR 3, while the 1928a1（50）drum should stay at BR4

I was about to say it earlier,
I’ve seen Dregomz posting references to this “overpowered” squad recently.
His screenshot suggests he doesn’t own this gun. And if he would in fact own it, he would never even bring it up lol.
PPD 44 is one of the most dissatisfying guns to use. It’s hilarious how utterly bad this gun handling.
I don’t even find space for it in my 11-squad slot preset for BR III. Sometimes I cycle it in and each time it turns me off so immensely that I put it back in reserve and hope to forget about it.

I mean it performs just fine, and also sits perfectly fine BR III. And if you’re a veteran and have standards, you play with PPD 40 as a meme squad it is, it’s just not competitive enough in the BR III environment, considering what you find in there today.

Sure it got a nice drum, but in the end it’s a polished turd.

I think the source of this feeling is primarily that subconscious comparison with all the other Soviet smgs.

PPD44 is literally a downgrade to all the BR1/2 Soviet smgs in terms of performance. With only tradeoff being high capacity magazine.
