Do not play this map before darkflow truly modifying their shitty housing allocation, Americans can no longer easily win any high BR battles

They intentionally make the gun sights bad; I have been going on for six weeks now, and they have done nothing.
I’ve personally watched names go to Germany from US on the NA servers. We won once out of 12 I’ve played so far.
We have gloves though!!! Gloves make everything better. (even though they kind of look horrible because they clip into the uniforms). Devs can’t be bothered to even model the US gloves with the uniform.
Now the gloves even disappoint me.

If I am being straight with you, Darkflow does everything they can to hinder the Germans. You can see this with the Italian paratroopers getting put into BR IV, intentionally putting MP40 and MP38 on BR III (even though both PPS versions are BR II), and other stuff as well. They do all this stuff because they think they won’t have to fix fundamental pieces of the game: gun sights, maps, and weapon handling.
They just flat-out don’t want to fix American guns, and it is probably because they would rather you play as Russians than Americans.
Funny thing, the Johnson rifles iron sight is just off and they haven’t addressed it despite the fact that it’s been mentioned. They somehow put it on the far left iron sight guard and not the middle post so people think the rifle is inaccurate.
I wouldn’t doubt it though, the thing is I hope we can push past the whole thing of people having nation superiority. Not that I’m saying you do, but there are things I would forgo too in the sake of balancing. No one has the time to play every faction for every update but hopefully going forward more people can compromise to the point that the devs don’t just act on how they can monetize things.
I think the para troopers were a big problem for all fronts, they ruined the pacing of the game because everyone had them. Glad they at least addressed that. lol
It may also be why they move them to BR IV quick fix mayhaps.
One fact is that Germany is too strong in BR5, to the point where my server’s player statistics mini program already shows a negligible number of Allied players in BR5 for several days, with most players leaving for BR1 and BR2
There is basically no point in playing BR 5, except for the germans. I don’t even think that Pershings will change that.
The pershing thing is just a joke, even from a logical standpoint.
No players will have it when it’s released and to get it you’ll have to grind excessively. You wont really even see them.
Armor is also only a problem when it’s in the Gray zone and it’s not going to solve that. Every once in a while a pershing may frontal kill a KT, but it’s just going to rush a death through infantry to go right back to it.
It is not that they are too strong; it is that the other factions (America) are crapped on by Darkflow.
You can’t see crap out of the gun sights which they spend months making
The guns are intentionally given bullet velo decrease
The M1 Garand (and sniper variants), the X factor for the US Infantry, does a fraction of what the bolt actions do
An ungodly amount of Dispersion is given to the Carbines
Slap every good Thompson in BR IV and above

I have gotten multiple suspensions about the Carbine and Garand sights. But notice how the 1895 Winchester’s sight is nothing like it should be:
Notice how, though the sight is not even lined up correctly on camera, the stripper clip guide creates a focus point to emphasize the needle. John Moses Browning was truly a genius.

You see, that’s why I am indicating that it’s probably preferable in the long run that they stop going back and forth with nations one upping each other. They should look at where they are and dial some things back at the higher end. It should be rewarding to get there, but if they keep overcompensating for certain disadvantages it’s going to make for lack luster game play. The way they do it though seems to be just to give players that bit of a rush with certain things and weapons.
There’s always going to be weapons that each nation has that others won’t, but many WW2 games get it right in the sense that it doesn’t make for one team dominating because they have one firearm that poses particular advantages.
Lol, yeah, that’s pretty bad.
That is why, like in the RO2 and Rising Storm Series, you give unique abilities to different factions.
For example, in Rising Storm 1, Americans had superior equipment and better (larger radius) artillery. The Japs did not have this but instead could launch a massive Banzai attack that would cause the US soldiers to be suppressed, give japs more stamina, and let japs take more bullets (bullets kill in that game). The effect range was multiplied by how many players were in the banzai together.
Maps were based on actual battlefields, so there would be maps that you would not want to attack unless you had no other choice. Of course there were jokers that would vote to attack there anyway lol.
No faction in this game is truly unique, they all have the same abilities. That is one of the reasons why this game is failing.
In the past Dev gave Germany good tanks and the US good aircraft to give the factions uniqueness
The US was not to counter the German Tigers with tanks, but with aircraft, which was a good asymmetry, but the German main shouted loudly for a weaker aircraft, and the US main wanted tanks that could counter the Tigers.
Over time, the factions lost their individuality because many users did not understand the fun of asymmetry.
The thing is, before the merge, US top tanks could deal with the german cats. The 76 shermans were able to kill the Tiger and Panther through weak spots. And it is able to kill Tiger II P in the same way.
The Tiger II H however, is too tough to be cracked by a 76.
Also it is quite easy to counter US cas with german dedicated fighters (109 G14 is soooo good) but most germans players don’t bother using them because of their limited Air to ground power and because it requires less skill to spam tanks for better results.
When I play top tier germany, I don’t use my tank because I only get Panther G (which is good) and it would prevent teammates from using their KT. Instead I use the G-14 so whenever I encounter USA I just have to fly to counter most of US assets.
The best thing you can do if you do encounter frontally Tiger II H while playing US tanks is to shoot at its main gun. Once you destroyed the gun, you basically won the encounter.
So there’s at least some solution, even tho it’s still extremely unfair.
Equipment is not what I mean. I mean abilities that only certain factions have. For instance:
On the Eastern front, the Soviets did not have as many Radios and were not using them as much until much later. This impacted soldiers’ ability to call in Fire missions. Give Soviets longer wait time for arty.
But when the Soviets did call in fire missions, the victims were receiving 155 mm to even 203 mm shells along with Katyusha Rockets. Make the arty radius larger and more deadly, as well as adding in Katyusha Rocket Barrage.
Soviets had tons of troops to spare. Give them extra tickets to use.
I have more, but my point is clear. It is simple stuff like this that makes factions truly special, not the copy-and-paste format of le weapon or le vehicle. There is more to consider if Darkflow will dig into the fertile soil that is enlisted.
Guess you guys also forget that the Soviet got Paratroopers that can use RD44s, 82mm mortar and Panzerfaust 100 in BR1, while they also took the M3 Halftracks from the US, but hey, keep bashing the country who only receive a single truck that doesn’t even comes with the cover like the promotional photo showed lmao
And of course, another Plane with HVARs with actual 20mm isn’t enough right?
