Have anyone use the 82MM battalion mortar in Berlin? How good is it?

Hi guys just wondering if I should grind for the 82MM mortar in Berlin thanks

I heard it’s maybe barely better than a normal mortar, but that’s secondhand.

I don’t know what use you would have for mortars in a campaign that’s mostly indoors.
Be like that dumbass who kept dropping artillery on our entirely-indoor objective.

The only thing I’m curious about it is…

…Can it explode a tank if a lucky shell lands on top of it? :upside_down_face:

Blew the tracks off one tank and set another on fire (assuming top deck engine hit).

It does have a better blast radius, but, I think (never times it) a longer flight time.

It is very situational to use, so I kit my Mortar team out as a standard infantry unit that might get the chance to occasionally rain hell.

Some map for the campaign are pretty outdoor and I find the Mortar to be quite useful if used correctly, thanks for your information

that’s how I use mortars in any campaign really.
I do hang back a bit more but they mostly end up as an explosive sniper rifle where I don’t need a line of sight on someone or something to remove it. Good at clearing emplacements and removing pesky machine gunners or rooftop snipers

It’s better cus of the bigger splash radius but mortars in Berlin kinda suck cus the buildings catch a lot of the mortar shells, so while technically better it’s still not worth using over something like an assaulter squad with MP-43/1s

It can but good luck getting a direct hit on a tank with it

5-6 Big Bullets or 11 Small Bullets… i’m a little bit frustrated about the new one… its a unlock after King Tiger and it doesnt can do things, which the smaller cant do…
