Available in all campaigns except the Pacific War.
Why tho? We have the FN Model D which was captured from the Chinese by Japan, why would this be any different?
China did use the M712 and full auto Astra copies of the C96 as well, so it would be entirely possible they captured these as well.
They did certainly capture C96 style guns, quote “…and was later captured by the Japanese in the war with China in the 1930s. As was common practice the Japanese equipped the captured pistol with a new holster and re-issued it to their own troops.”
(talking about a Chinese C96 a US serviceman captured from the Japanese)

my guess would be to preserve it for chinese faction maybe? idk it a possibility beside i dont think most jap used it i mean if there were it would be like the dicker max where there is only 2 in the whole army
look all im saying is wouldnt you find it weird to see like 10 jap arm with full auto mauser that they capture from china? most jap dont even used chinese gun as far as i know (which doesnt say much since i dont know a lot)
from what i search the jap used it mostly on their homeland so just like that national defense rifle i guess

As a player who just joined Enlisted 3 days ago, a quick question. Do they usually have a sale for gold, premium, suqads etc on birthdays?
I don’t think we’re ever getting a Chinese faction for political reasons.
There is no reason Japan couldn’t have used it as I said they captured C96 pattern guns.
There are only 4 event orders here, how you’d equip 10 guys with 4 pistols is a bit beyond me.
Also how is this any more weird than if say someone bought a bunch of the FN Model Ds with their gold orders and equipped his MG squad with only those?
I also want to add that captured weapons usually stayed with Japanese units, for example there are a bunch of Dutch guns in the Guadalcanal Relic Museum, why? Because the Japanese captured those from the Dutch and they stayed with the unit that captured them.

im talking about a lot of player using them of course 1 guy can have 4 but most game have 10 player so in theory 4x10 is 40 so yea
anyway like i said i search it and it said they were mostly used by homeland soldier not combat soldier which is the “possibility” of why they cant used them
but like i said i know nothing about ww2 so yea

I wouldn’t trust the claim that they were given to homeland soldiers, why would they bother shipping a bunch of guns to the homeland when they were desperately needed in combat?
C96s were sold commercially in Japan but thats besides the topic.
