Is there any other assualter type weapon better than the Mp 40? (any campaign)

But ofc :slight_smile: Personally i like the Baretta m1918 atm when it comes to Normandy. Mp35l is better in my opinion when it comes to Moscow. Havent tried the Zk yet but also looking at the 40 mag Baretta down the line i know that one is going to slap as well membering how well it performed in Moscow in close quarters ^^

I don’t get time to play the game often because of job and everything…I’m only at level 11…mp40 is the best assaulter gun I’ve unlocked so far

Mp40 is bread and butter of Axis faction. Not the best, but you’ll be fine with it and will compete with whatever the enemy throws at you.

Note:

  • in Moscow, stick with mp38. It’s identical to mp40, but 1 star less, so cheaper to upgrade.
  • in Tunisia the beretta m1 is cheaper… and in fact BETTER than the mp40 even if unlocked first. Because reasons. It’s a laser, no recoil weapon with 40 bullets. Only 1 star (stock) very cheap to upgrade.
  • In Normandy, you got it. Mp40 is da wey with lower tiers weaponry. Until zk, beretta m38 and obviously mp43.
  • Berlin same as Normandy. Stick with mp40 until you unlock mp35 or beretta.

100000% this. In this game, the MP 40 is about the only consistent weapon you’re going to encounter, regardless of campaign.

Mastering the MP 40 gives you a solid groundwork for every campaign (at least until one shows up without ze Germans). The Kar 98 is a close second, but in all honesty the MP-40 has much more utility.
