The Type 95 Light Tank used in the Enlisted game is based on a very specific vehicle.
It was part of a unit that surrendered to Australian forces in New Britain in 1945.
The hull of this Ha-Go is equipped with a flamethrower.
(Probably what looks like a Type 100 flamethrower is fixed to the front of the hull)
Now, in Enlisted, the Ha-Go does not have very effective weapons against enemy infantry.
So, I think we should add a flamethrower to give it a limited but effective ability to attack enemy infantry.
In a reply I received on Twitter today, I received a photo of a Ha-Go with a flamethrower on it, taken from a different direction.
According to this photo, the left rear side of the hull of the flamethrower-carrying Ha-Go appears to have a large fuel cylinder attached to it for the flamethrower.
Although this large fuel cylinder would be a considerable weakness, I think it would still be well worth it compared to the current lack of any offensive capability against infantry.
It was multipurpose engineering vehicle used since 1930s. The last model, Model E (Bo/戊) omit several functions but it still had flamethrowers, mine rake, bridge launcher etc.
Especially, in the Model E, flamethrower’s tank is internal type and protected against rifle caliber firearms.
