Ha-Go should be able to actualy use his type 97 machinegun from commander position, i’m not sure why this was implemented in way it is in the game (switch to 3).
Also Type 94 APHE has small equivalent of TNT (around 11grams) but still it should be reconsidered to give this gun better splash and improved ability to destroy vehicles (with probably reduced reload speed).
Ha-Go tank mantlet was in fact 30mm (rest of the turret 12mm) and hull also 12mm, while in game those values are shown as 12mm for turret and 6mm for hull. This mantlet was in fact really big and this should be reconsidered in the game.

you mean like, det packs, TNT charges, Val dive bomber, betty bombing runs, zero bombs, adichi sea plane, the 20mm ATR, lunge mines, AT mines, and if you are fighting the m13 you get to add frag, WP, molotov, flamethrower, any melee weapon and small arm fire if it gets out of the grayzone?
The issue is that that position is not the commander, it’s the gunner, as losing that person means the gun cannot fire (you can prove this without even dying, pop your head out of the turret and see if you can fire the main gun). Because the one guy in the turret is the gunner, you can’t control the MG because it’s controlled by a different guy, like the Grant’s two main guns. Furthermore, you cannot add control of the MG to the main caliber gunner, as that would break many other tanks (like the aforementioned Grant). So due to the fact that the guns are controlled by two separate gunners and there is no commander, making the two guns fire at the same time is virtually impossible without risking breaking something else.
You see how big it’s compared to the frontal space of the turret overall.
We both know that those weapons are completly worthless if opposing player is not retarded.

The turret face and the mount for the mantlet are both 12mm and overlap adding up to 24mm~ already

Tanks need a complete overhaul, I think. All of them. I would have added airplanes to that list of things needing overhaul as well, but they look more like they should be removed instead. At least developers don’t seem to have the slightest idea of what to do with them.
Ha-Go specifically, … it’s just awful and with little space to be actually used for effect. I’d first see the overhaul of everything and then think how that thing fits into the game.
I played both sides and this is disgusting for me how can i close game as USA in few minutes, i’m also playing without “fancy premium squads” giving you advantage with Much better thompson.
I’m also assuming that as a Tester you understand the problem here and why developers are putting ASAP patches trying to fix this nightmare.
Both sides can use those and they are not effective countermeasure to the problems mentioned.

Testers have been largely ignored since the very beginning. We can’t develop the game ourselves and we can’t teach developers anything they don’t already know. I’m not even sure why we were invited to the alpha testing. The most they did was gather first impressions, which were (and still are) mostly good because the devs have intentionally obfuscated the problems.
At least, 37mm gun needs rework. Both Type 94 TKG and Type 100 TKG should have Type 94 HE shell…
Also, if possible it is good to replace main gun of Ha-Go from Type 94 TKG to Type 98 TKG. Outer shape was not changed but gun breach was improved and it can use larger amount of propellant, so penetration was improved. Type 98 TKG was mounted on late production of Ha-Go, and in-game model is late one.

As a F2P player, I played few houndreds hours and maxed out few campaigns.
I know that besides Ka-Chi Japanese don’t have anything better, nor equal except bolt rifles and E13A1.
What is your point then?

The balance is fine currently american dont have advantage aganaist japanese
- Bolt-action are equal
- Semi-auto are bad because campaign is open and the only motive to use them is for engineers self defence
- tank are shit for both part and usless because even the AT-RIFLE can kill them hitting the engine
- plane globally nerfed
- machinegun here american win but again map to open mg to much dispersion withaut upgrade
- smg japanese win all of their smg are much controllable low dispersion and upgraded have 550+ rof and 6.7 damage, 5 october update fixed type100 now is the best smg of the campaign

The campaign is belanced for now in the future i dont know but for sure now the problem is the playerbase wo shift at day alternate between the two side
the only true imbalance is one created by the playerbase, if you don’t have a playerbase for one side then it doesn’t matter which is better or worse because the side with the players will win.

Ist true, try to engage with a machinegun from 50m or more, fixed or not, the dispersion make them usless outiside 20m and most of them have shit sigth, the only decent mg is the browning and mg42, the bar is the only mg wo can be used in run and gun easly because is a Selective-Fire rifle

I clearly see that you are not “as fast as other kids”, thus i will make it simpler. If you compare M13, M2A4 and M3 Stuart to Ta-Se, Ha-Go and Ke-Ni you see that those tanks are in fact Extremly OP.
Those tanks are in fact worse but they are completly busted when compared to japanese counterparts.
But if you would compare M3 Stuart to Tiger, yes M3 stuart is lacking…
I tried and it’s excellent weapon, one of the best in the entire campaign.
Type 100 is 520 and 6.5 fully upgreaded, after patch they are decent and decent at best.
