So I made a post forever ago about gunswords that I’ll link below, however now that we have the Nambu Katana, I want to draw attention to the other gunsword that I also asked for.
The M1911 Patton Saber
As you can see, this is an M1913 Patton Saber where the handle has been replaced with an M1911A1. It works exactly how you think it should it should, and is glorious.

It’s possible although it may not be right away and probably far into the future. Gold Order Weapons were meant to be wacky and fun while just being solid weapons. So I can see this being a Gold Order Weapon too.
Even tho I would like it, I think special swords suits Japanese more.
This being added for western allies, Japanese sword would lost its uniqueness.
If anything, I would add your sword after current Japanese became unobtainable.

I beg to disagree, the Shin Gunto as a campaign unlock already cements Japan with unique mechanics, so having a new type of gold order weapon for both US and Japan won’t take away from the uniqueness of Japan.
aiming with this thing in Normandy would be impossible in bunkers/buildings unless they would let us to remove that bayonet
But collision doesn’t affect guns in this game so it can just phase through the walls.
Doesn’t really matter, since everything you are holding is extremely small. Just look at his nose in comparison to my hands.
honestly why not lol, it looks comedic and goofy ahh weapons are a great fit for the BP.
Maybe instead of that, the experimental full auto M1911s.
