Hi, whenever I play the beaches I always play engineer and help set up defenses, but the only thing I don’t seem able to deploy anywhereis the ant tank engineer gun.
I would like if the Pak anti tank gun could be deployed on the slopes of the first 2 phases of the map, I think this maybe due to lack of flat ground, but only place I can deploy, I get no sight of enemy, please allow us to build the Pak emplacements on the defence of beaches more easily.

the placement it’s incredibly hard to position as it’s mainly caused by the terrain not being very flat as you correctly mentioned.
and should be fixed soon as possible.
for the germans it’s not easy as most of the areas that are flat are mainly hills suffering from gun depression, or in the middle of the road being exposed and not very covered.
but for the americans gets even worse.
the only homemade " fix ", is to place the AT gun, and ask for vehicles to move it around. this somewhat works.
but nonetheless, the proper fix in my opinion, is making the tank gun a proper vehicle. like, you can move it very slowly, but at least it can be builded and moved somewhere else where needed.
I suggested something simmilar but it was rejected.
I proposed to add 360* rotation to AT gun if it’s crewd by 2-3 soldiers (part on my squad weapons suggestion).

due to being somewhat, overpowered ( some people claimed ).
i mean, i saw it in post scriptum, and it’s working there.
but i don’t know.
otherwise i’m not sure how much convenient for the devs can actually be by changing the map physically.

Only hurddle is laying in the gun again after a rotation. Lest it gradually roll away from the position it was placed in due to the recoil.
We can assume that engineer may have klin to stop the weel. Or at least an axe to make one from wood.
oh for sure, it can definitely be abstracted/simulated.
I don’t see why the guns can’t rotate with the proper animation/delay. Otherwise people just disassemble them and reassemble them.
It can be done in real life and people are just gaming that capability like I mentioned above. Adding it so it’s a seemless immersive element to the game would just be quality of life IMO.
They don’t need to change the map, just change placements of gun, allow it to be put anywhere, it is one shot kill to destroy it anyways
from what i noticed, it’s a bit harder because, they can be moved around with tanks, but they don’t have proper functional wheels…
i’m afraid that is the biggest issue.

It’s much easier with a prime mover for sure. They can be repositioned ie rotated by using the full anti-tank team. Or even moved although it’s difficult or straight up impossible depending on the terrain.
This a big reason why Germans also fielded the Leichtgeschutze 40 and infanterie leicht geschutze 18.
Smaller much more infantry portable field guns, LG40 being a recoiless rifle, less capable of defeating armor although I do think they had HEAT/AP rounds.
I have found a few spots which work, but being able to move the gun slowly would be much better, it takes ages to deploy sometimes as my squad AI keeps blocking my deployments!
