To start with the new TT squad gonna get an event I would personally like to see these guys in the game

The 13th Mountain Demi-Brigade was a brigade that was formed in 1940 which fought
In the second battle of El Alamein and Tunisia and invaded Italy and Germany with the allies during ww2
The firearm the unit will be armed with is the STA mle. 1924 smg which was used by Free France/Legion in ww2 and was France second most produced smg during before the fall of France
It shoots in 9mm with a 32 round mag with an open bolt design and a rate of fire of 650 rpm

French legion
The French legion not to be confused with the foreign legion was a group made by the Axis from French people in occupied territories of France which is people like legionnaires or normal soldiers or citizens of former France
The Legion of France Volunteers was made to mainly fight against partisan groups on eastern EU and saw the battle of Moscow and other fronts of eastern area with was disbanded in sept 1st 1944
Mle 1939 was a smg made by France in 1939 had a limited production of 50 but it was still used by the axis of the time and had a heavy round for the gun
It was chambered in 7.65×20mm Longue has a magazine of 36 rounds a open bolt design and a rate of fire of 600 rpm
Also note give them the French voices from the Moroccan squad

Nice suggestions indeed! I am hopeful about getting the French Resistance as the event partisan squad for the Allies. We need less copy paste and more unique weapons and squads like these to make the game truly interesting.

I hope later they allow people the equip these dudes with bolt action rifles or MGs bc that’s like the main guns they used

I was going to write to you about this only. They have redeemed themselves from the abyss. After this I still have hopes for the next ‘Major’ update in January 2025.
Wonder what’s this jazz all about then. An event squad for the anniversary in November or the yearly Christmas event? Interesting.

Remember, the more French weapons you suggest for event squads, etc., the fewer French weapons will be added to the tech tree.

lacking on some aspects, but generous on others.
personally, all of these new civilian items adds more for my police themed mod. more items for modders in general.

Most modern ones would. Older rifles, etc., could easily go both ways.
It would be extra cool if we get to see this iconic black beret of the La Résistance.

there’s only a decoration of the mab.
regarding the hats, italians have a similar hat.
but they’ll probably reuse the ones from other guerrillas hats since some of them are similar / reused.
