I’d like to suggest this one as well- As possibly a purely night map where mortar fire become flares that give illumination in places. With darkness all around, it’d be crazy map in general, and you could add bayonets so that it feels even crazier when u get impaled suddenly from the side by a Japanese soldier. You could slow down the pace too, and encourage more stealth with bursts of chaos and moments of somewhat quiet.
Would be something to see! I would love to see Iwo Jima, or Tarawa as well.

Good thing about the earlier pacific campaign would be much closer matched. The Marines didnt recieve the M1 Garand yet (in any great number) for Guadalcanal so it would be bolt vs bolt and a rare thompson or Reising SMG here and there
