Greyzone & Guerillas

Yep - got to keep the lowest common denominator happy…

It’s not even about that.

You have to be able to differentiate. Most people who complain about greyzone tanks would complain about them (meaning camping tanks) even if greyzone didn’t exist.

People who complain about grezyone tank usually have a pretty identical approach to this game.
Most of the time, they only play infatry squads with full auto weapons (rather than utilizing every aspect of the game, meaning playing vehicle squads and non meta infantry squads) and they don’t even bother to build rally points.
And their main focus is to chase the best KD they can achieve
That’s why they truly hate dealing with vehicles. They are here to farm bots. That’s all they play the game for.

That’s why this kind of people would still complain about tanks even if greyzone was to be completely removed. Because they just won’t bother running those 100m just to destroy one tank.
You can see it already, most of the time guerrillas just don’t chase and destroy tanks.
They’re are either hunting rally points that are further in grey zone. Or are simple bullying infantry running from the spawns.

The way greyzone is designed was and still is a problem. But what the people who are in a holy war against vehicles have turned it into something completely bizarre.

They even managed to justify an adding new class that is all about spawncamping…

Actually those squads were initially much smaller, and thus considered useless.

Now its just assaulter squads that cant bring AT launchers or build rallies BUT can push infantry further back than before. Hunting tanks in their spawns is a waste of manpower.

The idea behind this squad was terrible, the execution was a failure.

That being said, since it pretty much plays like a assaulter squad its still part of the meta, just not used for its intended mechanic.

Yeah.

The most amusing thing is that they are a lot more potent on low BR than on higher BR.

On low BR, you can have meta smg with big ammo bag in combination with any starter BA.

But on higher BR, you can have just 2 smgs (that are simply less meta than ARs).
There’s no point in taking BA to high BR.

So it’s extremely seal clubber friendly class.

Oh true, never thought about that, even with just bolt action rifles at low BR they can be nasty.

Weird, decision making for sure.

again most of the player-base can’t or will not fly
f2p only have one vehicle slot which they use for a tank
at guns are good but hard to use, slow to BUILD AND SLOWER TO MOVE
AT soldiers cannot easily kill the big German cats with any at weapon at anything but close rang that is inside the gray themselves
as for other tank yes when my stock Sherman fights a tiger 2 my mighty 75mm mm goes right through the front of weak armor of a tiger 2

Skill issue, literally

Point at enemy, shoot. Not hard to use, no need to move if built in decent position, fast to build if you give your engineers their perks

US soldiers now have the Ofenrohr, pretty sure that can pen most big cats

Don’t play BR 5 then

im not trying to try a br3 loadout and see where you end up

skill issue yes being restricted to 4 squad slots is a skill issue

US soldiers now have the Ofenrohr, pretty sure that can pen most big cats
wow the ofen is br 3

Point at enemy, shoot. Not hard to use, no need to move if built in decent position, fast to build if you give your engineers their perks

yep cause building it out in the open is safe, yep i can see them but they cant see me

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it feels like most of your issues are with matchmaking while queuing for BR 3 and getting uptiered to BR 5 matches, instead of with guerilla class and game balance. Would you say you’d have the same difficulties in a purely BR 3 lobby?

never said it was, I said that most players refusing to learn to fly, was a skill issue. F2P players should absolutely get an additional vehicle slot, purchasable with silver maybe?

Again, giving your engineers their proper perks helps out quite a bit with this, also don’t build where the tank can easily see you, use the map and environment to your advantage! I never move my AT guns unless I’m switching targets and I need a different angle
