I play this game nearly everyday, and sometimes I don’t know if m on your grayzone or not.
If you can’t deal with a single tank that is few dozen meters far, you have big skill issues
Tanks are as easy as it gets to destroy.
Any capable attacker pilot, tank or enginner with gun can do it.
Close combat and cleaning enemy infantry in narrow places is primarily infantry’s job not the vehicles, as same as in real war.
This " greyzone tank camping bla bla" is ridicilous. Do you know range of average ww2 tank gun ? About 2-3 km
Any level 1 infantry with tnt can obliterate any tank if he is near to it.
Armored vehicles are not ment to charge into infantry like they are heavily armored medieval knights on horses. And let me remind you tank skirmishes distance in this game is literally point blank compare to real equivalent.
whats balanced abought the jumbo or the alie plains on Normandy lol. tiers only 3 ways to kill a jumbo. shoting stright into the side aint one of them… As for alie plans on Normandy they minus well be B25s B17s and B29 super fortresses. As for tank killers Alies defently ave better plans to do it cause they have more ordances to do it. At least JU188 is the only reliable air plan we have. to do Air to Air and kill tanks. I been saying this since the game first came out…
Have you played Tunisia? You only get the engineer at level 9. Untill then you get mashed by tanks camping in the greyzone. The first plane you get doesn’t have bombs so you can’t destroy them, you can’t call arty in the greyzone, AT rifles barely put a dent in tanks at that range and you can’t reach them with det packs. Your only hope is a competent friendly tank that won’t get blown up by the 2 enemy tanks camping in the greyzone.
I played it like 4 times when brits got the full MG squad I never whent back. But ya same on normandy. 109 G 6 has 4 bombs that dont do much. for get the 109 G10. and the BF10 or the FW dont help much not till you get the JU188. Alies get 6 to 10 rockts plus a bomb on nomandy. A20 is better then then JU188 cause you can acauly gun. leaving you to hope like hell your JU188 guns hit somting.

I think the biggest problem with greyzone camping stems from powercreep. If all low level tanks were capable of taking out higher level tanks it wouldn’t be so bad, coz then even new players could hop in a tank and take care of the camper.
But since we have things like the Tiger/Jumbo/Panther in Normandy, T-50/T-34 in Moscow, Sherman in Tunisia: they’re practically impervious to almost every other tank in their campaigns.
I rarely ever feel like camping tanks are a problem in Berlin since even the starter tanks are capable of taking out the top level tanks frontally.
Nah mate Bf110 is extremely easy to use to take out enemy tanks with the rockets, its what I always use to take care of problematic jumbo’s. Never found it harder to use than the P-38 for tank busting. You can even use its 37mm cannon to take out light tanks
I been fiding it anoying as hell as well as the FW. The rockets bonce off like bombs do when you get direct hits. Funny part is no reason they should have time fuses… I have killed a few with FW and 110. I just have more use for the Ju188 then all others cause its a shure thing. Even to dog fight with. Funny thing is even befor we got Gunners id rather be in a defencless 188. I been at this since it came out. I stayed off for a year or more. Im surpized we even got the tiger I was hopin it do amazing vers jumbo but nope.
Ya they never fixed the damed thing lol but over the 109s id rather be in the FW. 109s gun ammo is janky they dont seem to do a damed thing. Hell a 12mm seems to down a JU188 with 1 hit to the engin now lol. and you get sniped out of JU188s like crazy
