i haven’t seen a single tank camping somewhere further back in big action mod, or maybe it wasn’t such of an issue to the point I haven’t even noticed. The dream might come true someday since it seems to be working well.

Defending that in the game tanks can camping from the gray zone and then justifying that in reality tanks make long-distance attacks is an ironic and contradictory way of justifying the abuse/exploitation of this possibility.
What the creator of the post proposes (like so many others in this forum) is something reasonable and no one in this forum deserves a derogatory response like the one you give (and it is not the first time you respond in that bad way)

It’s just normal usage
Are you going to protest because infantrymen have trouble shooting down planes with rifles?
Or do you think you have to set up anti-aircraft guns or fly a plane to shoot him down?
So why don’t you think the same way against gray zone tanks?
This is certainly not the first time I have responded in this way
I only laugh at things that are ridiculous, thoughtless or even selfish

Besides the fact that you treat the majority who mention this disrespectfully, your main argument is that since there are other ways to destroy the tank in this situation, the abuse of gray zone camping acquires a kind of “legality”
I, like many other players, do not agree with the abuse of tank camping from the gray zone.
Degrading and insulting those who think differently will not make your opinion more relevant, quite the opposite.

Well its either that or insane nerf of antitank weaponry so tanks can join the cqc.
Quite sure people rather have tanks at distance rather than roam among enemy infantry while they cant do sht about it.
Unless the enemy is a monkey or your teammates are too powerful
Otherwise, it is impossible for a tank entering a war zone to survive for more than 2 minutes.
The enemy’s paratroopers and anti-tank equipment continue to attack you at no cost.
