Grenades Resupply at Ammo Boxes

Besides guns different weapons are able to resupply at Ammo Crates; AT weapons, flamethrowers, mortars, even the Luftfaust. Except grenades and even mines

Now I have thought about overhauls of the backpack and inventory system in general, but for now that’s on a shelf.

I think grenades and rifle grenades could be resupplied at Ammo boxes. I’m not entirely sure about mines though so I’d say they’re a maybe.

Ammo boxes are not that common in game. There have been many times I’ve asked for Ammo boxes and no one builds them.

I feel if grenades and such were able to be resupplied by Ammo boxes, it would make people build more of them since grenades are in hot demand, thus allowing them to be used more by the team and all their different Ammo needs

I will just say I have suggested a “Heavy” Ammo box that is for “heavy equipment” like grenades, flamethrowers, AT weapons, etc. Should we have a separate Ammo box for heavy equipment or should we just have one universal Ammo box for everything

Also, are you playing solo or with a group? If only solo, I suggest making some friends.

No, then they would just be spammed for grenades, which are taken in abundance anyways.

MINES on the other hand are limited to one per person for some stupid arbitrary reason.

ok in his defense on the ammo box comment sometime my engineer die before i can build ammo box too and for some reason people wont build ammo box so that isnt really something anyone can control imo

oh and the friend comment like i said long ago i invite them it take 5 year and they didnt even accept so yea it really hard to find “friend” in enlisted that arent busy

In many ways I’m a different kind of player.

I would say I am not one to throw grenade, resupply, throw grenade, resupply, throw grenade, and so on and so fourth

I’m a little “mission oriented” where I focus on whatever particular objective I’m doing for the battle. If I’m charging towards the objective I’m gonna go for it along the rest of the wave, I wouldn’t run up to the obj throw a grenade than go resupply and repeat the process

I would only resupply grenades say after an objective is taken and I’m getting myself organized for the next attack, or say if during the wave attack we get repelled and I’m forced to retreat so I’ll join the next wave

Or if I’m guarding a specific point, say I’m guarding one particular spot/ direction, I would only go resupply during “lulls” in the battle like if we’ve repelled a wave. I practically won’t leave that spot until I am killed or used all my ammo

Of coarse I understand the typical gamer mindset and there likely would be some who would explicitly Grenade spam. But I’m just speaking from my perspective

do you remember last summer with explosive pack spam? i would already imagine that you wouldnt be able to approach caps cause people could spam hundreds of molotovs around the cap. maybe even WP would see comeback with something like that…

i mean if grenade box become a thing every grenade will become op

maybe grenadier can refill grenade once but then again if a class like that become a thing it will be too op

no explosive ordinance should be resupplyable.
AT weapons have very weak HE so usually only direct hits work.
Only exception is the GO weapon RMN-50 which is supposed to be balanced by long reload.
Grey did already voice his concerns that this might not be enough.

Would be unbalanced grenade spam 24/7, so I don’t think this is needed.

Exactly and that’s the problem when it comes to end game so I don’t see a problem if we can reload explosives unless we stop the RMN-50 from reloading explosives.

And do keep in mind the ones who are playing at end game are the ones who have been here the longest and have the most exotic weapons so that’s where you’ll see these exotic weapons.

If you don’t like that I guess you’re in my camp where there RMN-50 should not reload then right.

That’s fine since you get twelve rounds and can bring several
You don’t usually live long enough to have to reload it

It doesn’t matter this is about end game people are not that stupid and you can lay down covering support with that thing.

I’m gonna have to disagree with you on this one if you don’t boycott the RMN-50 then we should be able to reload explosives then.

The most useful thing you can do with the RMN is strike as a vanguard into heavily entrenched positions

Perfectly fine to be a different player but end game it’s gonna be the most painful so I say fight fire with fire.

Also weapon slot explosive weapons =/= throwing hundreds of frags, impacts, GLs, or WPs per guy
There is no equivalency between the two

You can drop the RMN-50 and give it to an engineer squad and when he dies the other engineer can pick it up and the loop starts over and over again so there’s no point that one side should have fire power and the other one shouldn’t.
