I feel tanks shouldn’t get the grenade warnings.
It is way too easy to just get on the reverse when the huge marker appears on your screen.
Sure, the thrower can hold the explosives for longer, but that shouldn’t be necessary. Tankers shouldn’t have the explosive sensing abilities of a detection dog.
Holding grenades is not hard. Literally hold LMB for 4 seconds and they can not get away. I think tanks do need to be able to counter poorly thrown explosives. They already can not respond to a simple 4-second cook throw.
I just feel grenade radar is really dumb and out of place.
Maybe have the commander (if one is present) scream “grenade”, without the on-screen marker?
They already do that, but you do not get enough information out of that. It could be thrown in front, behind, etc. Fague intel is just as good as no intel.
You seem to want the game to be more arcade-like than I do, there’s probably not much more to say between us.

If they remove markers they should half the range on nades, because its also stupud that everyone can throw grenades at the effective range of machineguns
Which is exactly my reason why tanks should keep the marker to counter players that have no skill in throwing their nades
Sure! Superhuman throwing abilites is just as dumb as superhuman bomb detection abilities.
