Grenade throwing is fubar

I’ve never had issues throwing grenades till this update. I actually front smoke grenades and this update broke throwing them. It’s almost roulette to see if the grenade throws and sometimes I thought I threw it only to stand there facing the enemy in an awkward state holding nothing, not even a weapon. I understand the reasons to nerf white phosphorus and grenade spam in general but this “animation” needs to be tweaked badly, critical bug

Grenade was fixed in 0.4.2.26 update

I can confirm, it is still bugged.

I just compared .26 update with 0.4.1 versions.
.26 still do not prevent excessive cooking time (no auto throw to prevent overcooked/suicide)

What’s still a major uncomfort:
.26 still do not throw when keep pressing G, even if player is suitable to throw now.
In the past, if player is running and holding grenades (shift+w+g), whenever player stopped running (w+g), he could throw the grenade.
But in .26, in the same situation, (shift+w+g) player can not throw out even if he released shift key(w+g), turning into walking (which allows throwing), when keep pressing G.

it should be fixed. I got the update that was just pushed not long ago and played a game. Smooth!

Yes! Now the player have to count in your mind the time until the grenade explodes.

I avoid this problem when I tap “Next grenade type” button first, and throw the grenade with the fire (LButton) button.
The animation is really sucks, but I have to agree this is more realistical.

Yeah I do think these are great nerfs. Before i could run with my sword/axe and quick throw three nades on the run. That was to arcady i have to admit.

This will prevent ppl (like myself) to easily spam.

agree, for me this game is sometimes too much arcade, especially with mechanics where some realism would be better suited. My dream is that the core gameplay of this game should be arcade-like, but all the mechanics like shooting, running, and any activity would be more realistic. So it wouldn’t be some hardcore mil-sim but arcade, but it would still has some sort of clunkiness etc.

IDK, but the grenade stuff is irritating me. There’s too long of a delay. Instead of dissuading people from throwing grenades with the stupid delay, get rid of being able to have more then 1 grenade!!!

Not if you press ’5’.
Then there’s no delay between the 3.
