No clog since I dont think devs are reading this forum these days. Also I dont care if they will ever fix this because the whole grenade system and weapon switching is buggy and I never use throw back function. Mostly, only bots use this function.

First bug: You are not able to throw back grenade even if UI do says press MMB to throw back when you are holding any type of grenades.

Second bug: If you throw away a grenade by KEY G, then you pick that grenade up and throw away, you wont able to use the rest of explosives, whether via key G/5, or scrolling MMB.
I haven’t test more depth of this function like in PVP matches. Because rarely you have any chance of throwing back grenades.
BTW, the reason why I test this on purpose is that in my previous match, I get close to an enemy’s grenade and wasnt able to throw it back.
Just dont trust this function, run away from enemy’s grenade.
And who knows how many bugs in those rarely used game functions. It’s until I test this by myself, today, then I found this function is so unreliable.
I think that I actually reported bug with blocked explosives back in the alpha days and I think it was fixed since then. But obviously persisted when throwing back grenades. Unable to throw anti-tank charge until main weapon reloads - English speaking section / Bug Reports - Enlisted
Try reloading any of your weapons, then it should unblock the explosives (if its remnant of the same bug). If it is same bug, it should also probably be easy to fix, since it was fixed already on the main and most common usage of grenades/explosives.
Maybe they should add the grenade aiming line back but have the line dissipate after several feet. Or better yet, they could make the mechanic work properly.
Reporting that it is exact same bug I reported a while ago. Here are more of my observations.
Bug I reported still persists (tested on german premium squad), however if you equip more types of grenades (for example smoke grenade and TNT), you will be able to “unblock” throwing by pressing select explosive key two times.
Works the same with molotov
If you are unlucky enough to not have either molotov or smoke together with your TNT reloading weapon unblocks it too.
Works exactly the same as described above even when throwing back your own grenade (cant test it on enemy grenades for obvious reasons tho).
I will try to update my report accordingly to keep all those issues with throwing grenades in older thread.
