Grenade Pouches or Back Packs

Maybe you can try landing on the strip in Airfield invasion (Normandy), but I guess the dudes you just bombed would put up quite a welcome committee.
If you ever manage to dodge all Hs-123 wrecks.

Its like this probably

  • Have a few guys with grenade pouch that carry 3 smokes. Got 6 smokes on assault squads and 3 smokes on rifle/engi/gunner squads.
  • All engineers carry 3 medkits and 1 repair kit.
  • All my first guys in the squad carry an ammo pouch and all others carry backpacks with 4 medkits to increase the chance thay they are alive when I swap to them.

There is nothing a secondary weapon can achieve that a primary cannot.

Backpacks have builds.
Secondary weapons are just situational weapons that weigh you down without any immediate tactical benefit, sans specialist secondary weapons like AT/flamethrowers/hammers

At “best” you can bring a shotgun or rifle along with your SMG, but in the ranges most people fight, an SMG can be used at everything except sniping.

Agreed. Wich makes me wonder… Some classes, like the radioman, can only unlock the second weapon slot, not the backpack slot (for an obvious reason, those old radios were very big). But radiomen… can only equip rifles. Why would one guy need 2 rifles, other than the possible ammunition surplus it would grant?

My point: Shotguns should be available for other classes than assaulters as well.

I wouldn’t tell you how many times I attempted to :stuck_out_tongue: , but I’d manage to land with my damaged plane on that runway once, and also the beach once, and continue to fight on land.

more med kits since its useless when your dead [carrying extra ammo or grenades] expect you do ammo kit on main soldier while others use bags.

if you have engineers in your squads, the ammo packs are useless, especially since they only give 1 and 2 mags each; and in a game where everything is a 1-2 hit kill, medpacks rarely get used as is.

Explosives of all kinds as of now are so horribly broken and spammed so heavily the extra det pack is by far more useful, even a molotov can find its use blocking doors or windows.

The large one gives 100% more ammo. Not just 2 mags.

full TNT for assaulter
full medkit for engineer
full ammo for anything else

my B im only level 14 on soviets and 12 on germans, i asked about them in game and a few players told me it was double the small pouch

depends, i always give assaulter and trooper 3 TNT because fuck the tanks while the rest are large ammo pouch except engineer they get 4 medkit

medkit isnt effective practically since the enemy most of the time would give too much damage you have no time or HP left to revover
