Can we please revert the last update that issued with grenade launchers or at-least only keep the animation update portion of it? It feels as though at-least 1 out of every 3 matches I play there is 1-2 people spamming a squad full of grenade launchers. Particularly at the start of the match resulting in them getting 20+ kills in under a minute. I play this game often and feel it becoming more like call of duty MW2 because of that update.
Devs doesnt care that their game becoming explosion festival.
They promised to fix it the other day, but otherwise it’s cancer.

In real life it was way worse.
But the engagement ranges could go up to 400m and usually happened at around 200m to 250m, which meant that hand grenades would not be used as much, but everyone and their dog had mortals, so if you didn’t had good cover, you could had died quite easily from indirect fire.
War has been like that since the great war, where most of the casualties where caused by artillery.
Also in urban combat soldiers could receive up to 4-5 hand grenades, and in some armies a good chunk of them would change their bolt action rifles for submachine guns. Such was the case for the red army. So you could imagine the amount of explosions going around.
If you need further evidence of how bad it was, then read about the instructions given to the Soviet soldiers in the battle of Berlin. They were literally told to throw a grenade inside any room that they didn’t knew if it was cleared.

Slap, I agree, I have noticed too that if you walk into a squad of nade launchers you are as much as knackered! Maybe a rethink on this one is needed.
I dont blame the devs for trying new ways but without a doubt the game was better BEFORE the rifle grenade buff.
So we could either:
A) revert it and thus make rifle grenades something that nobody uses
B) Limit their use to one per rifle squad
C) Lower the explosion radius to something inbetween we had before and what we have now
D) Keep the explosion as it is but return the long time to assembly/disassemble the gun
E) A mixture of these
Personally I would prefer to keep the explosion radius but go back to the long assembly and disassembly time (perhaps even additionally require to exchange the cartridges) and limit the use to one per squad, or perhaps 2 to 3 for riflemen squads.
I think in most situations ordinary rifles should always be preferable and rifle grenades only useful (as they were historically) against troops in houses/bunkers/foxholes or against big groups if you have time to prepare the setup. To fulfill this mission though they need a noteworthy big explosion radius.
Otherwise we get back to them being useless (still preferable to the current situation) or some kind of explosion sh**show where no one uses rifles anymore which is equally unrealistic as it is frustrane to people
Just played a game in Berlin where someone on my team aimed directly at the enemy spawn with a grenade launcher and got 17 kills in less than 40 seconds. After which, they ended the match with over 100, 2x as many kills as the 2nd place player, by cycling through planes and squads with launchers. Doesn’t matter if my team won, just takes all of the competitive nature out of the game and turns it into a call of duty noob-tube fest.
I agree this is cancer and has to be removed ASAP
