Grenade launcher spam and Impact grenade spam is a toxic

How will developers fix this problem?

A DF employee could go to anyone’s house who is found guilty of grenade spam, and spank them on the bare butt!

Joke aside, people just love to exploit this miserable game since it encourage the scummiest behavior just to be the top of the score list

Not really a suggestion thread topic. But probably nerfing the blast radius of impact grenades.

i have died to impact grenades once, and ive been playing new enlisted for 24h now, if we’re talking about low br.

Better solution is to restrict availability.

  • like only available to assaulter or something (they have to choose between ammo and grenade bag)

Nerfing stuff into wet noodles is so un interesting. Better to just remove completely

you know community hate that concept, they’d rather having everything nerfed into oblivion than redistribute everything throughout their squads…

not to mention it would literally solve the squad carousel problem, you’d have bring different squads to bring different stuff.

no joke, I think it’s exactly why this game is a chaotic mess, don’t get me even started on the recent updates, para squads etc. because It seems that enlisted devs are trying to ruin their game on purpose.

Just give impact grenades a br of 5 and only sweat lords will use it against one another.

Restrict to squads? I personally would disagree, if at max an enemy can have 3 grenades per soldier, which is already low.

I would disperse my soldiers wider and knowing what is going on in the game and on which map, take caution. We shouldn’t punish good players because some players with less in game time are not able to use their senses in game to fight, regardless of if attacking or defending. Nerfing and restricting hurts the players who don’t abuse a system. Punishes the majority for the minority.

Does it though? I guess Im biased anyway because I dont even use grendade pouches (except AT squad…all Detpacks)… One is enough for me as a tool to be used when the situation arises.

Rifle grenade though…really doesnt need to be on full 9 man squads…IMO

aren’t restrictions precisely intended to prevent abuse of the system?

no matter if you are a good player or not, if you are restricted to a few effective items, etc. they won’t cause too much damage the game doesn’t expect.

I understand. I feel that once restrictions become a norm, the freedom of operation will gradually be reduced to a point where nothing will be free to decide.

I also only use small/large ammunition pouches or I will use the large backpack to carry toolkits.

The excessive use of impact grenades and rifle grenades I have yet to experience or see, so I will take your word for it. If I was to experience that, I would most likely feel the same way as yourself and the other gentlemen I am speaking with in this chat. I hope that a proper resolution is possible, I believe we can find a middle ground and properly address and resolve this minority yet profound issue. :+1::grinning:

I grabbed some rifle grenades yesterday and I think this is the best method. Historically accurate would be a grenadier class. Either make that class an extra option for rifle squads, flamethrower squads and assault squads in the area you select the MG or make it in a new soldier choice option and make the AT gunner or assaulter a choice.

Additionally it would add grenadier squads. It could have 3 grenadiers, which I think would be balanced and provide a new content pipeline for the devs. After that they just switch the Solder 2 etc… to the regular rifles instead of rifles with grenade attachments.

Just play for the Japanese and the USSR.
Playing against the USSR, you will not see these grenades
