Greece campaign

it would be interesting to see a campaign in greece (beetwen a little parto of the german anrmy and the italian one against the british/greece one). there might be a lot of new italian weapons that @61133313 suggested and some interesting greece/enbglish weapons like Mannlicher-Schönauer (greece) and breda mod 37 (italian). some maps could be in: visconti prasca; valona; durazzo and tirana (the last 3 are in the counter-offensive of the greece army)
let me know what do you think

Could be nice after we get the pacific.
And after all the major issues are fixed.
So not rn, but maybe in like 2 years.

pacific is not that great: japo will not have much new weapons (only vehicles) and americans will have the same weapons of normandy

The hell you mean?? As far as I’m aware, there’s only a single Japanese weapon currently ingame

Is this what you’d consider no new weapons?
And who said it needs to be the americans facing them. China and the commonwealth also exist.

I would love this

Early war the Weapon set would be totally different, The Japanese also fought the British/ Commonwealth and the Chinese, really depends on what time frame and theater your looking at for the model.

Early War Invasions in the Dutch East Indie’s Would Involve the Dutch

Early War Invasions in Malays would be with the British

Burma (Circa 42) Would be British/Commonwealth, Chinese and American forces (Best bang for the Buck)

Philippines Early war US

Solomons Campagne, US Army US marines, New Zeeland Forces (Land Sea and Air for all three)

New Gunnie 42/43 Australians and US Army (Land Sea and Air)

The late war stuff I personally find the least interesting as they were largely, apart from retaking the Philippines, the Campaign to retake Burma and the War In China Just set piece battles to take fortified Islands with very lopsided armor match ups, but early war the tank match up would be far more competitive

And the LMGs as well as the rifles.
I really want an arisaka, but don’t feel like paying for a subpar premium carbine rn.

The Japanese were also well known to use captured equipment, they had a lot of American equipment they captured in the Philippines they used in the DEI and Dutch Equipment including tanks that they used in the Solomons to give even more options

But most of them were prototipes or projects.

At least 80% wre production models.
And saiyng that the Japanese will get less unique stuff than the Italians (again) and the greeks is obviously wrong.

No, the only prototypes on that list are the recoilless rifles, as well as the “Model 1 SMG” and the “Model 2 SMG”, the latter of which is far more historically accurate than say the MkB 42, as was pushed into service and captured by British Forces in Singapore where it was then studied by the Allies. Thus, almost every single one of those weapons saw service, and that’s not even a comprehensive list of every weapon the Japanese used.
