The forum has become a cry fiesta, seems that people are forgetting the unique experience enlisted offers or are just getting bored of the game. It is not perfect but it has an unique experience on the fps market and I really love it
Its not that they are bored. Its just that they refuse to stop complaining until the side they main gets all the advantages.
So if people complaining about the game are bored. You are complaining about people complaining. Are you super bored?
They are doing exactly what you are doing but they have a different topic that they want to post about.
There are at least 3 stages of Enlisted.
- The wow phase, basically what you said. Nice game, cool experience, wanna grind.
- 100 hours in. Grinding phase. You have unlocked your gear and learned the meta. You just grind for end-game now while trying to have fun. Here were the issues start to creep in.
- 300+ hours in. You are at or near end-game, at least in one campaign. You have superior gear, squads and game knowledge compared to your average player. You usually end up in the top 1, or at least top 3, spot. Now you just play for fun, trying to dominate every game. Here is were the issues become really really annoying, cause they ruin the fun and you’ve been dealing with them for way too long.
Your options at the stage 3) are quite limited, you either quit the game, ignore the issues, or try to offer some constructed feedback on forums.
And, the reason why forums are so filled with complains at the moment is because the game is arguably in the worst state it’s been over the past few month at least.
This^
Having gone through 2 progression wipes, I can completely agree. The issues in the game and the lack of sense of an achievement really starts showing after the initial 1-2 months of grind.
You mean allied players who play only Normandy?
Well… US asked for Tompson because it’s iconic (yeah sure, definitelly not because it’s a good weapon, but that’s only my personal thought) so werhabs have right to ask for Stg and US has right to ask for M1919 (2nd one also because of balance reasons).
And I don’t recall any complains that MG42 is too weak, only that it’s too strong or not historical.
But maybe I missed something.
Comparing the Thompson to STG-44… AHAHAHAHAHAHA
Also i dunno at what world do you live but the Thompson is possibly the most iconic smg of the war alongside the PSSH41 and MP40 and yes people asked for it cause it’s iconic no give a fuck about the M3, when people thing of US small arms they think of thompson and garand also you do undestand that the stg is assault rifle territory?
I’m not comparing the weapons themselves, I’m comparing their iconicness (goodle translate).
So what type of weapon they are doesn’t matter in this case.
Although true that MP40 is probably more iconic than Stg.
it’s not a direct comparison but it still is cause your argument was that the US players asked for it for the performance and not how iconic is as for the iconic guns Mp40 is way more iconic than stg44 same goes for the Kar98K, the Mg42 and the Luger, Stg-44 is iconic more from an assault rifle standpoint than WW2 small arms, like it has to be 2nd only to the M16/AK-47
Oh, than yeah. I thought you would just ignore that part.
So now explain me that MG42 part because I’m curious.
I was following closelly every topic regarding LMGs but I don’t remember anything like that. I wonder if I missed something.
Dont really understand your logic of “iconic” items, what comes to Mp40 it was good smg but everyone had good smg’s so I dont really understand how its more iconic than Stg44 that was one of a kind weapon and revolutionized the small arms of militaries.
Look up the definition of iconic and you will understand his post.
The word you are looking for regarding stg44 is influential.
STG44 wasn’t iconic, never has been, that goes to the MP40.
The STG44 was very influential on modern assault rifles.
Idk, by googling “Most iconic weapons of ww2” it seems to quite often include the Stg44 under the iconic or even best weapons of ww2.
most complaining on the Forums at the moment about:
-remove Jumbo
-less bombs
-less arty spam
-this map is unfair for this side bla bla and that map is unfair for that side bla bla
overall good points and understandable complaints, (besides the crying about map balance… yea sure they need improvement (like AI aimboting through bushes), BUT balance wise still good enough to make the better team win.
Can you just find a dictionary and look up what iconic means, dont just randomly believe what people say on the internet.
If you google search iconic weapons of ww 2 you also get the posts that say ermagurd THisss stG44 is soooooo iconic. Those answers have no place on a serious discussion.
Could say the same.
Definition of iconic
1 : of, relating to, or having the characteristics of an icon
2a : widely recognized and well-establishedan iconic brand name
b : widely known and acknowledged especially for distinctive excellencean iconic writera region’s iconic wines
As if the Stg44 comes up with majority of searches it means its quite widely recognized & it was one of a kind at fairly excellent unlike the Mp40 that did the job but wasnt exactly anything special.
And by your “Iconic” logic germans should be driving Tigers only as its a tank everyone knows regardless how few of them there was.
Which proves how flawed your entire “Iconic” argument is.
Widely recognized, widely known. That regards the entirety of humanity. If you would do a full spectrum analasys on what weapons people know the mp40 and the kar98 would show up in general lists. The stg44 is not something most people know.
It is something ww 2 enthousiasts know or people that play a lot of ww 2 video games.
By all means go ahead and do that and prove me wrong.
If someone has studied that much ww2 that they can name kar98 and Mp40 im relatively sure they can also name the Stg44.
