Graphic setting items limited to directX12

As I posted before, this game is DX12 compatible

I logged in to this game for the first time in a while, but noticed that there was a setting I had never seen in the settings field.
I was curious about the word “ray tracing”, so I restarted it with DX11 as a trial. Then this setting disappeared.
From this, this mysterious setting is limited to DX12 mode and is probably real raytracing with an RT core.

I couldn’t enable this setting because my graphics card is old.
If anyone has an RTX and could enable this setting, please let me know how the graphics have changed.

I can run it on DX12 by the way you suggested.

I can tell the little difference between DX11 and DX12 when switch the RT on.

And if i turned it on, i would drop 20fps, RTX 3080 Ti tested.

Here are the images (u can distinguish them by seeing the large image)

  1. So Called RTX on :joy:

I hope actual Ray Tracing comes to Enlisted because a lot of building interiors don’t look like they’re illuminated properly even with Global Illumination at High.

The newly announced Ultra Quality DLSS option should come to Enlisted as well, because the current implementation leaves a lot of motion trails.

nice!
It looks very realistic and beautiful. :innocent:

Would you please provide a comparison image of other situations such as indoors?

DLSS may make motion trails worse (unsure, I don’t have an NVidia card) but ghosting and motion trails are likely caused by TAA – if you have it turned on.

Sure.

Sure, I have already uploaded those. :joy:

thank you!
Hope DX12 mode will be released

It’s clear to me that the RT implementation is broken and still being experimented with. Still hoping we GET the option at some point.

DLSS does indeed make it worse, currently. I’ve replaced the dlss .dll file with the updated one from R6 Siege and it still doesn’t solve everything. But the Ultra Quality DLSS option that was announced should significantly decrease motion trails because it’s being rendered at a higher resolution than the Quality setting. Basically made for people who want better AA and a little FPS boost to crank some settings up.
