Granade throw line indicator

I’ve notices there was a granade path indicator in closed beta. Right now in Open Beta it’s very hard to predict where the granade will land. So can we bring this option back?

that’s the open alpha for berlin, so they removed it by the time they entered the close beta

it wouldn’t be realistic.

that’s why it has been removed.

plus, for experience, it wasn’t that accurate either, as major factor played a role ( such as type of grenades causing different weight, if you were moving it did affected where the grenade would have landed ) so it was more misleading that helpful.

Either way I would love to see it in Open Beta.

There are so many unrealistic elements in Enlisted I don’t think this small change would make any difference.

i won’t really like it, since you have 50% grenade throw perk which will make the indicator weird

well, we ain’t gonna see this one though…

Grenades dont fly in game like they do in real insted imagine to be major league pitcher then yo get results!

For a game where I can jump out a 2 story window and hose down an entire squad, I wouldn’t mind this line. Throwing stuff into windows is such a turkey shoot.

We don’t even have crosshairs, so I think the grenade arc would be really unnecesary.

But a minimap, Icons, User Interface, crosshair’s (Planes, Anti-Air cannons), limited area (when you get killed after a few seconds) aren’t also realistic and still in the game so I don’t see any reasons why a throw line for grenades shouldn’t be in the game aswell.

i mean, if you wanna play without hud killing your own teammates because you can’t still recognize your ally, that’s up to you. or wonder for hours in the map without knowing the objective or even know if it’s contested, it’s up to you.

the game is meant to be realistic with arcade mechanics such as hud because it gives you informations.
informations that you need to know.

as you can clearly see, you don’t have a crossair in the middle of the screen for rifles.

i don’t see how a grenade line can help you when clearly said that it was not functional as it might see.
when you can play pratice and do some test to pratice with grenades on your own.

Er… realism tends to refer to the performance of things in a gameplay perspective (grenades arent exactly the most precise projectile in the world), I cant think of anyone ever who has complained their UI isnt realistic enough.

For real tho, throwing grenades is complete trash in this game, the worst I’ve ever felt. No reason not to have an indicator or update it so its not complete trash

And those crying realism, why are tanks HE rounds basically giant pillows?

“Those who are crying realism” are talking about making HE more consistent and better since CAT.

I agree, I enjoy realism too but not at the cost of stupid shit like for example, throwing a TnT that gets stuck in an inch of wood that’s by your hand when you’re in a trench.

Gameplay needs to be good, and consistent or there will be need for making compromise for gameplay sake. That’s good design…

It just takes some time to get adjusted to it. I mean there are some strange hit boxes but they can be avoided. Just train a little and soon you will get the hang of it.

Guys, the arc was removed for a reason, do you want the game to improve and develope or to take a step back?

That’s your opinion though. If the throwing was consistent or there was a strength meter or whatever that would help. We can control our arms IRL, in this we have no real awareness how much arm strength is used and with different tools I get massively different throwing arcs, Unrealistic arcs for sure
