GPU overheating while playing

Hey everyone, so long enjoying the game, it´s a beta but it feels fun as hell
The problem is my cpu reach 75ºC while playing, when my hardware can handle the game pretty well.
Any tip of how I can achieve lower temperatures? Currently my settings are medium-low

Your GPU overheats or the CPU overheats?

Have you cleaned the computer out with a compressed air can in the last 6 months to a year? Gaming PC’s draw a lot of air to keep cool and you might have some dusty fins inside your PC that you need to blow the dust out of. Give that a try. You can get the cans at places like wal mart or target or something similar where they sell electronics.

Intel CFL-S has a TJUNCTION at 100°C. 75°C is a common operation temperature. Also for GPU, it can withstand 85~90°C as well.
If you want a lower temperature, use XTU and MSI Afterburner to down voltage/set lower TDP of your CPU and GPU.

75° isn’t outrageous, but it’s higher than you’d prefer. I’m hovering around 56°-64°. Without comparing technical specs or sounding like a troubleshooting retard, I would go with a simple assumption that the GPU is barely cutting it. 1660 is no slouch, but I’d bet it simply can’t handle the load. Your CPU is more than capable so I don’t see that as a primary contributing factor to low performance.

I don’t think this game is developed well enough to assume it will always perform like this, though. Give it a few more patches and see if further optimizations improve performance. Otherwise, find a used 20 series card and call it a day.

GPU, sorry!

Gotta try that, thanks!

It has been exactly 6 month since I dont clean my pc, I should clean the dust and pray that make a difference

Yep, I hope they fix that in future patches, I would like to play more to this game but Im afraid that im gonna damage my computer if I spend too much time with those temperatures…

75ºC isnt overheating. Point.

Before Enlisted I tried my best to get into Hell Let Loose. Just never enjoyed it. BUT, I consistently stayed at 68° or higher on a 2070 Super. Not a single issue, and I ran that GPU for quite a while. And just like Mooelu said, 75° isn’t danger territory yet.

Question: what’s your cooling setup? I mean case, fans, etc. at the end of the day if you’re really uncomfortable with those temps, and you don’t want to upgrade your

I hate this stupid mobile forum.

To finish my thought, look into increasing airflow into the case. That’s your best option for dropping temps if you’re still uncomfortable with where they sit currently.

Your GPU isn’t overheating at 75C

After reading many coments saying that 75ºC is not hot and checking my gpu specifications, I feel relieved that I can play without concerning about damaging my computer, Im used to play games between 60-65ºC so I was a little scared seeing enlisted reaching those temperatures. Anyways thanks for commenting, see you on the front

Your 1660 should be good up into the 80s tbh
If you’re uncomfortable with the temps just set a more aggressive fan curve.
