Currently Victory marks match the faction flying the plane, what that means is Axis plane, has only axis markings to show number of planes shot down, this is very wrong, Axis planes need to have allied, Soviet markers.
The same applies for Allied US, Soviet planes, it should show the opposing faction please.
Just when I was having fun customizing stuff too, I think this is a quick fix and just needs to be done.
@James_Grove please can you add this to dev backlog?
