The sympathy towards Germans is only present in ww2 games.

The thing with movies is that they cannot ignore nazism while games can.
Germany with nazism is terrible
Germany without nazism has cool weapons and vehicles that attract a lot of players
I’m attracted by weird designs and that is probably why I like Soviet weapons
