I’ve made a few mods and always go back to this google doc from the Enlisted Sandbox: How to create an Invasion mission but now I’m getting an error “you need permission to access this published document”.
Does anyone have an open link or a better guide? Its hard to remember all the steps of setting up.
apparently the owner of those guides prolly nuked his own account or changed few things.
so… no one has access to that anymore.
i will be reporting it as bug, but to be quite honest, ETA on any fixes can vary from a week, up to several years. even if that simple.
regardless,
the various steps to set up an invasion usually were ( and are ):
set up capzones ( if you want an invasion, i suggest to use the defend_zone_chained_ ( either square if it’s inside buildings, circle if it’s in the open, and poly if you want to set up a custom shape. )
set up respawns ( for both teams ) & respawnBaseWithGroupOnCapturePoint ( for defenders only )
set up battle areas ( usually in anti-clock order wise. otherwise you’ll have issues such as the gray area being black )
by: setting up poly_battle_area ( linking the various poly areas to sectors )
and poly area points ( link them accordingly: 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 etc concluding with […]-1.
so that all points are connected.
you can check out if they connect with the tool " poly areas ".
and then edit teams scores so that tickets costs a specific amount, and make sure each capzone is proportionate of 1000 score points.
meaning if you have 5 points, the overhal score shall be 5000.
but if you are not sure,
i suggest checking base missions blks ( pick the one you want / remember based on the name, create a new folder inside " userGameModes " give it any name, drag and drop one of those missions and rename it scene.blk ), the editor will open them.
