Since I own cash, I decided to waste my money on the SG Medic squad (I like the PPSh-gang (I mean more PPSh is always good and maybe the women have a better hitbox idk) and the German Medic squad is just meh with lack of Romanians).
I tried a bit out and guess what?
You can swap the PPSh-2 of the chicks with normal guns from your depot (doesnt work with the engineer though)
I dont know why female soldiers hold guns differently but I like this pose with the double barrel.
(If she could only hold the trigger correctly but I want this pose for males as well)
how do you like the medic premium squad ? i mean they are 5 soldiers and 4 of them cant even have ammo pouch or backpack… im considering japanese squad so id like to know
I dont really like the medic squads in general because they are not flexible. You just get Assaulters with medic crates. I could also get an Assaulter squad and put engies, snipers, bombers and even medics there.
I played twice with the squad today and it was better than my experience with the normal medic squads (despite the lack of the fifth soldier). Having an engineer is always nice, especially a premium one. I splitted up three PPSh2 to other squads (only my engineer had one because I couldnt change it but I keep it) and used two drums and the shotie. It was a “good” purchase (still overpriced as fuck but its DF). PPSh2 is good for med range because it has good recoil and low dispersion (according to old dispersion chart both SMGs have/ had 0.25 dispersion. I doubt its that low rn but still quite low compared to other SMGs and MGs). A better PPS if you ask me and having a med range soldier and three CQC soldiers is also a good mix.
The sole thing I dont get/ like is that the squad has four soldiers only and not five (maybe that would explain their “low” price).
im afraid there was nothin mentioned about gun swapping between regular and premium squads in announcement so it seems like bug , the japanese costs 25 which is bit less, i get it you can replenish medkits from the box ( which idk if i would ever do or even managed to do ) idk if i would swap something in the pacific for them , there really is not anything much else to give them, not even a arisaka carbine so they could be more capable on long range
