I tried to enjoy enlisted.

I really did.

I spent time on the forum trying to help the game out of beta.

All we wanted ( in the big lines ) were fix silver, fix IA stupidity, fix BR mess, increase player base.

And after 2 months, nothing really happenned.

I played the zombies, fun, and got the rewards. 8K silver!! Woohoo after hours of play I can buy another soldier!!! worth my time right? wrong.

I truly wanted a WWII game, with squads, large battlefields, beautiful maps, endless options to customize and adapt to my gameplay.

Then… The steam release was a mess and something happenned.

I talked to my friends, and they showed me another game.

Oh yeah, it’s not WWII, there is no squad, it’s not even PVP.

But since enlisted offers limited PVP anyway, due to lack of players, IA are that stupid, it’s not a big loss.

On this game, you can find the CEO playing your lobby, talking to you.

On his tweets, you can see him telling people not to buy the game until servers are fixed, because too many players are on at the same time.

He wanted to make a game good BEFORE making money.

Oh, and yes there are micro transactions. But they are MICRO transactions. Enlisted has MACRO transactions ( when you have to spend 50€ for 1 squad, it’s not micro, it’s the price of a game)

And the game rewards the time played with hard currencies, so you can buy premium stuff without paying, because the time you spent in the game got you enough you can buy premium stuff as a rewards.

There is a battlepass, but it’s not limited in time, so no FOMO, no log in everyday gatcha style.

On one of the many videos I saw on youtube, they talked to the CEO while in game, and the devs did handle weapons, so they replicate the effect on the game, and you can feel it.

It’s not WWII, but since helldivers is only 40€, the devs and CEO respect their players, the game is actually not bugged all over the place, I have a choice. Pay a premium squad in Enlisted for 1 country, that will be irrelevant for the next br ( or buy only BR5 and get stomped by vets), or pay the same price for a game that respects the players feedback, where customization costs 2€, with no bugs, only limited by the servers overheating.

It’s been a couple months I asked for a talk to even community managers, having feedbacks heard, because enlisted has potential.

But nothing happenned, and the steam release showed the greed of the company.

As I said in my first post here, I will not pay anything for a game in beta, and I’m happy I didn’t, because another game, not in beta, cheaper, without as many bugs, with respectful company, and features of the fking CEO dropping to play his game and talk to the community, is out and running.

Doing so well their main problem is they have too many players for their servers to handle.

Damn I wish enlisted had this problems.

But here we are, I grinded up to BR3, the game is not fun to play, there are not enough players to fill all the games, and the players are not on the same lv ( yeah no elo leads to that, but it’s been only 15 years companies use the elo system to balance the games and make players happy and keep playing)

This is funny because I just got promoted on the forum, just because I’m actively trying to repeat what everyone is…

But enough is enough.

Fixing IA stupidity might me a nightmare for devs, I give you that, but fixing silver income, and dropping prices for premium to a MICRO transaction system and releasing on steam for FREE shouldn’t be that hard.

Unless all you want is the max cash possible.

Well, Helldivers 2 have too many players, happy with the game, and with the low 2€ price tag I’m certain they are happy to support the game.

They are basically buying a coffee to thanks the devs, meanwhile here we are all raging because no one cares about the players and if you don’t pay 100€ a month you can’t enjoy the game.

I’m sad, but I tried, I tried hard, to grind, to raise my voice, to become part of the community.
The game is beautiful, has a lot of potential, but the greed of DF kills it all.

Too bad, another company respects their players, is not as greedy, and I’m sure they make a lot more money than you. For the price of a bus ticket, or a coffee…

Well I’m gonna buy the 40€ game ( compared to the 20€ beta on steam it’s reasonable since their game is not bugged).

Maybe later, I’ll check how enlisted is doing.

I do not think many people can blame you and I do not think this game is good for people’s mental health so overall go be free and go do whatever you want and maybe you can come back to this game later.

So…Why do people write letters when they leave the game?
Do they read long letters to the waiter after eating at McDonald’s saying, “Burger King is more focused on making the Whopper bigger than it is on making money…”?
Can’t they just leave the restaurant like normal?

Because those people had high expectations and they saw a lot of greatness in this game and unfortunately all they’re waiting got nothing and they’re sad to leave.

I do not recommend it.
I protested in a strong tone to the waitress at McDonald’s 15 years ago because there were no pickles in my order.
“Hey! Why is there no pickle in my burger? No pickles…that’s just like a sandwich! Why? Why no pickles!!!”
Now that I have cooled down, I am ashamed of my statement and attitude.
Every time I recall the frightened and annoyed expression on the face of the middle-aged woman who was dealing with me at that time, I wonder how foolish I was. I don’t know what the circumstances were, but I should not have behaved like that to a woman the same age as my mother, who worked so hard…
I am now taking anger management classes and going to a counselor, but that woman will probably remember me as a bad customer for the rest of her life.
It was a mistake that I cannot take back.
I recommend that you keep a friendly smile on your face at all times.
And I will tell you that having a McFlurry Maker at home will enrich your life. You no longer have to be upset if the McDonald’s ice cream machine is broken.

Because they don’t give a sh*t about what other players think about their " this is why I leave " note?

And as Parrot says, being sad to leave means you saw greatness in the game, tried your hardest to give feedback, and saw nothing happened?

This message is absolutely not for the players. I don’t give a crap about " it’s not an airport, no need to announce your departure" memes, it’s for the dev team to know they had a new player, who was involved, and disgusted.

I want them to know why they are losing players, because I still hope they can fix things.

And if I don’t come back, I don’t care, the next generation of new players would probably be happy if the devs take those leave notes in consideration to fix the problems, because those problems make people leave the game.

Again, I have no friends here, and my friends didn’t even wanted to be involved as I am, and this message is not for players, but for the devs.

If everyone leaving was saying why they were leaving, then the devs would know why they are leaving and try to save their game.

It’s the same concept as kitchen’s nightmare, when the chef says " but no one ever complains " yet the restaurant is empty. Well if people explained why they left, maybe the chef could adjust to save the place.

This is why I say what’s wrong. So THEY know. Not you. I don’t care about player’s opinion. I want the devs to know.

Every message on this forum was to the devs, to make the game better.

Attacking players on a forum is stupid, and a waste of time.

Using the forum to talk to the dev team is useful.

Lol, stop being so dramatic. It’s impossible to play just one game for 24/7.

If you’re unhappy or dissatisfied with game, just stop playing it. You can always come back anyway.
I’ve had a few breaks too.

But posts like this make you look like… Umm… You don’t want to know.

Like why should we even care that you’re not going to play Enlisted anymore? I literally have clue who you are.
