I’ve really spent a lot of gold to make my own squad, for example, with helmets alone, or with certain faces. I have also used special appearance orders for this.

So I think there is a lot of neglect by the devs on this matter, and it needs to be sorted out as the soldier appearance is still changing with the start of the new season.

Its ridiculous to have your guys you may have paid a bit to get the right face randomized against your will

Yes its the second time, but at least they fixed it when it happened the first time.
