As an ardent fan of the Luger, especially in Tunisia, where its honestly a pretty rocking weapon for clearing buildings, I would like to put forth that the Artillery Luger could be a fun gold order weapon, either as a rifle slot, or pistol slot weapon. Its a Luger with a detachable shoulder stock, longer barrel, and extended 32 round drum magazine, made in large numbers as a pistol-carbine in WW1, and used by both German second line troops and assault troops during that war. While it was obsoleted by the SMG before WW2, I think it would still be a cool gun to have in the game, and would be strong enough in Tunisia to be worth having around.

It would be very nice for a pistol slot, because how that type of weapons does in a rifle slot, we saw with the Pedersen device.
And making pistol-carbines gold order weapons for a pistol slot is a nice idea in general. Maybe except of the Mauser Schnellfeuer, because that will be very useful for DF as an unlockable weapon if they ever decide to make a Sino-Japanese War campaign.

I don’t think a pistol carbine luger would actually be that bad of a choice in the rifle slot in Tunisia specifically. The best rifle it needs to compete with is the Gewehr 41, which has a painfully slow reload and fairly high recoil. Especially if it retains the fast deploy speed pistols currently have, I think it’d make for a pretty compelling option for giving a soldier some light assault capability that normally doesn’t have access to it. Of course, in the pistol slot it would be excellent as well, and I wouldn’t oppose it going there, I just don’t think it would need to in order to be worth throwing a gold order at.
the C96 schenellfeuer (M712) too, it is already on the image for the logistics so we expect to at least see it there

I want to see Luger, Mauser C96, or Nambu large pistol Ko etc with stocks in game
