Gold Order Rewards Now Being Locked Behind "Full Access?"

I’ve been a decent fan of Stalingrad so far, but i am vehemently against paying $30 to unlock a few mediocre perks in a game that still labels itself an “Open Beta” and said perks only apply to one out of SIX campaigns…

But That’s for another day. I got the battle pass and finally got my vehicle order, Immediately used it on the T-34E STZ without much debate (it was either that or a Panther for Normandy and ive lost interest in Normandy). The STZ is one of my favorite tanks from the early days of War Thunder and i have fond memories of it, bonus points for being able to have a T-34 without spending $30 to unlock a single tank in a beta.

Except. You cant use the STZ unless you purchase the full access pass and unlock the T-34 squad. There is no warning ANYWHERE about this in the game menus, and i didn’t see anything when glancing through the dev posts about the battle pass this season. So not only have i wasted something that is extremely valuable, i cant even USE the thing i wasted it on unless i drop $30 on something i dont even remotely want.

I suggest we cause some mayhem until the devs stop adding new things and fix these ridiculous oversights, we have 1943 rifles being sold in Moscow, the italian campaign has almost nothing thats actually from italy (and/or isnt available in normandy which is a better campaign imo) and Berlin is still spawning panthers under the ground after nearly a year of this issue being reported.
And now, theyre locking the battlepass items- things you PAY for, behind a SECOND paywall which costs half as much as a full priced AAA title.

If we let this slide, how long before they start locking the gold weapons behind level requirements (for instance, the Shpitalniy would be locked to the same levels as other drum SMGs like the PPD 34, PPD 40 and PPsH-41), and how long before they use this model to lock the greatest weapons behind a pricetag. If you take the MKB-42, they already have.

TL;DR
Devs are locking gold order rewards behind the outrageously prices full access passes in Stalingrad, and i imagine Pacific will follow next season.

This is not true, you can use gold order, you just need Tanker Ii squad, my mate in clan has bought it and can use it.

Thats exactly what i said mate, You can use the gold order on the T-34E STZ, but you cannot use the vehicle itself unless you own the pass and the squad, because Tanker II is locked to full access only, and nowhere does it warn you of either of these things- Gold Vehicles do not show up on the vehicle list until purchased, and do not say which squad is required to use them.

Uh no, tanker 2 is available for the free access pass, it’s the KV 1 squad.

Idk what youre smoking but all of the following are locked: (Attacker, Fighter II, Engi II, Mortar, MG II, all tankers bar T-70, SVT-40, all SMGs bar PPS-42, TOZ-B, ALL Tanks bar T-70)

You said the tanker 2 squad is locked. It is literally not as it is the KV 1 squad, which is free access. The T 34s are locked yes, but the squad itself is not locked and you should be able to use a gold order on the STZ in Logistics and have it in that squad.

One of the responses here told you already, this fake news is BS stop it.

KV1 is Tanker II class, this is just anti Stalingrad and devs and not necessary, if you look properly, if I was a dev, I would demand an apology.

I’m having the same issue, but with a panzer III J I just purchased with my gold token!! I got this tank for my German Afika korps and it says I can’t use with my tanker squad. No warning, nothing! What gives??? I coulda used it elsewhere if I had known.

Is written wen you buy it what squad he use and before you buy it you see what veichle is, if you fail to read and see what squad can use it before press buy is your fault

And you can check it simply clicking on your veichle squad
