Giving soviets impact grenades & white phosphor

started playing soviets again and noticed the lack of those 2 for the soviets.
the reason for them not having these grenades is usually repeated as them not existing irl.
—> if soviets get 2 panzerfausts, americans get ofenrohrs & basically everyone gets thompsons,
then the soviets can also get captured grenades for their inventory
—> DF can remain lazy and doesnt have to get new 3d models, just copypaste existing german grenades
—> problem solved

—> also reminder to make body armor purely cosmetic and to make ALL head cover customizations function as helmets. its minimal work and absolutely necessary for balance & fun.

White phosphorus and impact grenades have been nerfed so hard that their nearly useless. And even when they were viable most people thought that they were annoying. To be honest I hope soviets don’t get phosphorus grenades because then each faction doesn’t feel as unique.

Soviets have enough.

impact grenades and WP suck though, soviets are not missing out on anything cool (except lunge mines)

Soviets never used them was a (Japanese) thing.

I never said the soviets did use lunge mines, I’m just saying everybody besides the Japanese is missing out on the fun

Ahh yeah I know what you mean just would be weird seeing a russian running at my tank with a lunge mine

I strongly think they should replace and remove these. The Soviets have some prototype AT weapons and the Americans certainly have some prototype rocket

The Soviets can receive AT grenades as I believe they detonate on impact, fulfilling basically the same role

This particular one could only penetrate 20mm armor so you can either use it against a light tank or if you’re in a BR where its useless throw it at infantry!

I dunno about white phosphorous but I think the Soviet molotov’s should be modeled as vodka bottles instead of wine bottles.

Well Panther only has 16mm of top armor, so it might still be powerful if you know where to throw them.

Allies and Japan also do not have access to pirate cannon but I guess you didnt notice that one either.

Well, maybe its just that there are no Soviet impact grenade or phosphour grenades or land-leased or captured ones they used.

Except did they even had access to them?
Short answer: No.

For consistency’s sake, sure.

Not that anyone would willingly ever use them.

If a faction had used it in war, they should have it in the game.
