It is really annoying. I don;t know it is bug or intended, but i think it is a bug. since i dont ride tanks often i noticed Tank commander zoom was removed few days ago. first i thought it was just a short bug, restarted the game, and it is still there. Fix this bug back to ride tanks well/

It was Intended change, not a bug. it was changed in Making Enlisted a Better Place №42.

Whilst I agree with you, also thinking that commanders had zoomable periscopes. The only option now is to use binocs, these are highly recommended anyway.

If you´re commander only exposed his head when using binocs that feature might actually be useful. Sitting in the gunner sights and scanning the front until my crosshair turns a different colour has been good enough in my experience.
