Give us a "Big-Team" Game-Mode

As the title says:

Here’s an example of a game mode that would be a lot of fun for everybody.

Domination
-Increase map size by 100-200%
-Increase team size 25 vs 25
-Increase tank count to 3 per team, plus +1 additional vehicle when the team captures/holds a secondary objective on the map (adding a team bonus)
-Increase aircraft to 3 per team, plus +1 additional aircraft when the team captures/holds a secondary objective on the map (adding an additional team bonus)
-This game mode has a fixed time-duration of 30 minutes
-Victory is won by the team who captures the most points by the end of the match.
-Points can only be accrued while holding primary/secondary objectives
-Primary objective is worth 12 points for each minute held by either team (+1 point for every 5 seconds held)
-Secondary objective is worth 6 points for each minute held by either team (+1 point for ever 10 seconds held)
-Soldier kills/deaths do NOT add any value towards the points that are earned towards team victory/loss.
-This game mode is entire focused on holding the various objectives located on the map
-Player CANNOT infinitely spawn vehicle after vehicle, but are instead required to earn 1,000 points for a “credit” to spawn in a vehicle/aircraft (once they die).
-Each player is given 1 vehicle credit at the beginning of the match, and must EARN POINTS from infantry kills, capturing/holding the objective, and/or points earned from the engineer class system.
-Vehicle kills do NOT count towards additional vehicle credits, but can only be earned from infantry units.
-Vehicles are entirely for infantry support, earning experience towards campaign/player progression, and to help contribute towards the overall victory by helping capture/hold the objectives.
-And because the map size would be increased 200%, Rally points and paratroopers cannot spawn or be built within 100 meters of any given objective.
-No Grey Zones
-Each Team’s HQ is given A.I. controlled AA guns that engage enemy aircraft that fly within 800 meters of either team’s Primary Spawn point
-Each Team’s HQ is given an A.I. controlled HMG nest that engages enemy players that come within 150 meters of either team’s Primary Spawn Point

Here’s a photo example of a generalized layout, of what the battlefield could look like.

All the developers need to do, is merge two neighboring battlefields together, and make them into a single map/game-mode.
For example: When you’re flying in an aircraft and are looking around… you can see the battlefield (map) that you’re currently playing, and you can also see other battlefields (maps) that are REALLY CLOSE (but out of boundary)…
Just merge the two together :slight_smile:

And have this game-mode separate from regular Squad-mode (10vs10).
Also note, this game mode is not Lone-wolf. It would still be composed of full player-squads out on the field.

Also make objectives bigger. Sth like 50m in diameter (eyeballed) so they consist of multiple buildings instead of one / two rooms. Otherwise it will end up with 50 people spamming grenades into 5 crowded rooms.

Nah. Tommys big action mod is huge map, 20 vs 20.

Never heard of it. I’ve hardly dipped my toes in any of the custom-made matches.

The hope would be that there would be an increase to the player-base, and would not necessarily affect normal squad-mode. Especially once we factor in the campaign-merging, after it’s implemented.

well if they jsut add a new game mode in hte way that there was lone fighters/ squads it would lead to the one that is not selected as default being less played by the commeners players

Its worth looking at for proof of concept. Shows the game can play quite well with more players and huuuge maps

Well perhaps the playerbase is lacking, because we only have a couple fun game-modes (confrontation and invasion), and two modes that are completely awful (conquest and assault).

If we had better game-modes, more maps/battlefields, better team communication, and balanced matchmaking… Enlisted would attract a much larger share of people who are wanting to play the game…

As a result, there would be plenty of room to add a “Big Team” game-mode. Where both regular squad-mode and Big-team, each have a healthy playerbase.

But maybe I’m just living in fantasyland? :melting_face:

I have no doubt that the game could handle larger maps. Especially for people playing on PC and next Gen. Consoles.

Personally, I would love to see bigger maps and new game modes added to Enlisted.
After 3,000+ matches, it’d be nice to see some more variety/creativity incorporated into the maps/modes/missions we get to play.

a team deathmatch, while not really fitting the theme of the game would do quite nicely but conquest assault would do just as nicely

for a few days there when they addign custom games and even for a while after people managed to do some 10+v10+ matches, with the upper limit of the server being able to handle a 16 v 16 with bots but with the tiny maps it was a shitfest
