How about everyone, today I wanted to tell you something that I feel should be changed. Lately I’ve been playing Berlin with low-level weapons, since it makes me really boring to walk with all the squads with FG 42 II. It just ruins the dive and my playable experience. But hey, what I’m going for is that while using my VG 5, my shotguns and my bolt action rifles, I asked myself a few questions. Why the hell is the VG-5 in the assault class? Why can the shotgun only be used by assaults? wouldn’t it make more sense for the VG-5 to be destined for the rifle class? the same with the shotgun. Wouldn’t it make the same sense for the shotgun, which almost no one uses, to be intended for riflemen? Think about it, I think someone who has a kar 98 or a vg 2 would be very grateful to have a close-range weapon, not as effective as a submachine gun, but powerful enough to shoot an opponent at close range. Come on as the title says, give the Volkssturm the Volkssturmgewehr 5! give the old men their damn shotgun. And please change the designs, that the squad in the picture looks like anything but a Volkssturm company.
I was told, that long ago in the beginning of the game, it was a rifleman weapon, bit was OP against the starting Soviets with Bolts and thus as a result was moved.
I personally would love to see it back as a rifleman weapon. I just can’t justify taking it over a Beretta right now so I barely use it, but would go back in a heartbeat and drop the FGs if they made it Rifleman again.

indeed, the vg 1-5 could be added as a rifleman gun and they could also give the volksturm a redesign with all volksturm squads sharing the same cloth and hat variants that would include the 2nd volksturm’s (rifleman squad) uniform and cap the 3rd volksturm’s (anti tank) uniform and helmet and many civilian clothes since most of the volksturm did not have a uniform to wear, the only thing they all had is the armband
VG1-5 should be equitable by all classes

while that would be accurate, the child soldiers would be extremely controversial and would certanly result in the game being banned from some countries wich is something no one here wants.
