I think that T34 (1940) vs PZIIIL would be a good finale - aka the final level tanks.
The Germans get a monster of a tank that reloads very fast, has add on armor to protect against 45mm shells and even 76mm is angled slightly. It would kill the T50 with ease, aka 1 shot since it would pen it anywhere.
And the soviets get a monster of a tank that has a good gun, good, armor and good mobility, and their iconic beast, and since its the T-34 (1940) version it has a lot more weakspots meaning that a lot of german tanks can kill it without much difficulty.
Adding stuff like KVs (maybe KV-2 could be added) or PZIVF2s would kill the balance fully. The PZIIIL and the T-34 (1940) is a good finale
I dont think you understand the 30 sec reload. Aka very slow tank, slow reload, big - very easy to kill by infantry. Even the PZIIIJ would destroy it
I can, but that is just the sad truth about this type of campaign leveling rather than tech trees. I am not willing to not have the most iconic battle of moscow tanks (T-34 vs PZIIIL) because of a shit progression system
I mean, we canât be sure of that. The very limited amount of T50s did see service from 1941, so itâs possible.
Much more possible than the F2 anyway.
I agree to disagree, I understand that starting tanks would find a very high struggle, but this can be remedied by the use of explosive packs. Also not many people will be roaming around with t-34s etc as it would be a late game unlock or gold order.
And as for realism, although I hope they do not make Stalingrad an additional campaign, if they just add the maps to the rotation of Moscow and perhaps rename the campaign to âthe battles of army group centre and south etcâ (please come up with a better name though lol), that would enable later war tanks to be present without necessarily breaking realism.
But hey thatâs just my opinion (as I want to use KV 1s etc without grinding out another entire campaign)
It would discourage people from using tanks and just not be very beneficial. If you want large tanks, youâve got 2 more campaigns to choose from. I kinda like Moscowâs uniqueness. Also, explosives donât work when the tank is greyzoning. And Moscow has a huge problem with that.
As is the T-50. Yet you see it in almost every battle.
Itâs a good idea, but it has many flaws. Mostly to do with balancing early and late game equipment. Itâd need to be worked on before itâs ready.
It is also said that not much is known about their combat record. So Iâd say itâs possible for 1 to make itâs way to moscow. Much more so than a Pz4F2.
Still doesnât mean it being there is justified though.
regardless the red army was somewhat undisciplined during early years of barbarossa, I highly doubt that some tank crew just decided to drive to moscow ( 700km with current roads )
considering that T-50 operational range is somewhere between 200-300km
Yeah, the devs might be thinking they have cod or BF numbers of players to add another playerbase dividing campaign that is literary a copy paste of Moscow aside from tanks and the maps, DF is digging their own grave.
Exactly, thatâs why I think the only reason for a new campaign should the Pacific theatre and maybe, just maybe, a 1940 French campaign.
Other than that, stuff like battle of the Buldge should be part of Normandy campaign, Stalingrad part of Moscow, seelow and perhaps siege of Budapest part of Berlin and El Alamein and invasion of sicily part of Tunisia campaign.
I mean, maybe he just took a wrong turn somewhere, stumbled on a teleporter and appeared there.
Or maybe gaijin found it in some âsecret russian documentsâ.
Who knows?
