These would be great to have on mega huge maps like the Battle of Volokolamsk in custom matches.
Current, folded sight is perfect for game conditions because it is accurate and NOT visually obtrusive.
Having a big metal square open in front of your eyes wouldn’t bring any benefit in accuracy. It would only unnecessarily obstruct your vision around the target.
