Well, this one is quite straightforward. I think MG squad deserves another machine gunner.
Not to mention that tech tree MG squads consist of 7 men. But you can only have 6 specialists, so you’re always left with one blank rifleman.
In comparison, premium squad consists of 5-6 men.
4 machine gunners (one more than tech tree squads has), 1 engineer with a premium MG, and a slot for an AT gunner.
I don’t think that 1 bonus rifleman the tech tree squad has is a ood tradeoff for the 1 less machine gunner.

Whats wrong with having a rifleman left over? They carry the best guns in the game.

If I wanted to play rifleman, I’d choose riflemen squads for that. Not MG squads.

If you want a extra rifleman you could just put 1 less mg gunner because rifleman can fill all the slots.

I think 3 machine gunners is enough for a squad. But I agree that they deserve another specialist slot, maybe a medic or radioman?

Why? MG squad is not a radiomen nor medic squad.
Premium MG squads can have up to 5 men with MG out of 6 soldiers.
Meanwhile tech tree squads can only have 3 men with MGs out of 7 soldiers.
I really don’t understand how can anyone say 3 MGs are enough. And rather prefers to have completely unrelated class in MG squad instead.

All I will say is that I don’t understand why an MG squad should have more specialists of a different classes combined than it has machine gunners.
Can you have 4 random specialists and just two engineers in engineer squad?

adam finally managed to make a reasonable post.
assaulters are the strongest squad according to most players (and most played one). it MG gunners are much rarer and heavily depend on the weapons of a BR to be even considered by many. yet assaulters have 4 of them but MG gunners only 3.
this situation clearly requires rebalancing by activating 4 MG gunners in the squad.
its also very unlikely to cause bugs, as these types of changes already been done in event/premium squads without trouble.

Assaulter beats everything, if they can get 4 assaulters, so should the other classes be allowed to bring multiple.
